Dreams Flora Resort & Spa

We had a great stay at Dreams Flora Resort & Spa! This was our first all-inclusive resort experience, and we traveled with kids and extended family, everyone had an amazing time. The resort was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the restaurants were excellent. We especially enjoyed the Mexican, Italian, and Asian restaurants, and the café became one of our favorite spots for cappuccinos. One thing I would caution future guests about is the UVC/timeshare presentation. We were invited to attend a 90-minute presentation in exchange for massages. We went in open-minded, but after 90 minutes we were still confused about the program and pricing. It felt like something that would require much more time and negotiation, which we really didn’t want to spend during our vacation. Unfortunately, the sales staff seemed unhappy when we decided to end the meeting at the agreed time, and it put a bit of a damper on the rest for our stay. I’d recommend avoiding the presentation unless you’re already familiar with and genuinely interested in the program. Also, since this was our first all-inclusive experience, we weren’t sure what was normal, but we often felt expected to tip for nearly every meal and drink. It wasn’t a huge issue, but after a few days it did start to feel a little tiring. Overall though, we truly enjoyed our vacation and made wonderful family memories here!

Location of the Resort is amazing, grounds kept impeccable and clean. Rooms are very modern, comfortable well stocked mini bar hairdryer and cloths steamer. Holiday was excellent value. BUT food in all restaurants was below standard for this hotel. In speciality restaurants felt rushed and food came immediately after ordering (not cooked to order). Main buffet food cold tempretures not checked. Drinks advertised as premium brands, but no premier brands (UK) not available, only Dominican brands.

Dreams Flora is one of the best resorts we have been in 4 years! Very clean, amazing grounds, room are spacious and cleaned daily, no issues with changing towels like in other resorts. What we really appre ciated, there is no beach towel cards, you can change them few times a day, as needed! Also there is no bracelet! No need to worry you might lose it and pay the fine! We really had a great vacation, people working there are very nice, helpful, always smiling. Many thanks to Meroli, Neftali, Maria from the World Cafe buffet, who made us feel special guests even if we did not have the Preferred option. Food is very good and fresh, a lot of options to choose from, really happy we did not see much fast food, but rather grilled and cooked food. We went to A la carte Bordeaux and Portofino, more to try something new. The lamb at Bordeaux was very tasty. Beach is not very large, but it is beautiful, plenty of chairs, no sargassum first 4 days...then even if it was windy few days and the ocean was wavy, the beach was cleaned all day long. The only issue, we were used to walk hours on the beach, on the left part of the resort, there is an uncharted teritory, and you don't really feel to venture there, and on the right side the next resort is in construction and the beach is not clean..but you can then walk until you get to Sunscape and Marina.. We also loved the live music evenings in the loby and the dancing after.. Thank you Dreams Flora for this great vacation ! We will return!

We had a great time. Good value for the money. Our room was smaller that other resorts we have been to, but everything was clean and nice. Smaller resort, which we liked.

We had a great stay at Dreams Flora Resort! The resort felt very safe, with multiple security personnel and two gates. We upgraded to preferred club swim up room and it was well worth it. The preferred beach area was beautiful and relaxing, along with the adults only pool, which was very quiet. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment, especially the burlesque and Dominican shows. The food was consistently good, with our favorite meals being the steaks at Seaside Grill and the espresso martinis and Tiramisu at the Italian restaurant. A couple downsides were that the service at the preferred swim-up bar was very slow at times(despite tipping), and the mosquitoes were pretty bad during our stay(10+ bites in a week). Thankfully, the resort stores sell bug spray and hydrocortisone cream, which definitely came in handy. A special shoutout to our butler, Oliver, who was amazing throughout our trip! He helped book a relaxing couples massage for us(the Spa is a must!!) and reserved a beach cabana, which made our stay even better. Our housekeeper, Santa was also amazing! We found the bartenders at the beach(Bunny!!) and the preferred family pool to be the best. Definitely remember to bring some cash to tip, the employees are hardworking and deserve it! Overall, we had a wonderful trip and would definitely recommend the resort for couples and families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.
