Dreams Flora Resort & Spa

Our family and close friends recently returned from a spring break trip to Dreams Flora, and it was nothing short of spectacular. If you are looking for a resort where the management and staff truly shine, this is it. The Service & Staff: The check-in process was seamless and professional, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. The staff morale is clearly high; everyone we encountered was smiling, laughing, and genuinely eager to please. It’s a testament to the management that the team enjoys their work so much. Dining Highlight: A massive thank you to Jasin at Portofino. He was incredibly friendly and accommodating. On one evening, while the adults enjoyed the French Bistro (which is kids-free), Jasin took care of our children at Portofino, and they absolutely loved the experience! Entertainment: The energy here is infectious. From live bands at the beach to DJs and dancing in the lobby and even a circus, it’s a party from sunrise to sunset. Seeing the staff jump in and dance with the guests makes the atmosphere so much more entertaining and inclusive. Cleanliness & Maintenance: As someone who is very picky about cleanliness, I was thoroughly impressed. The rooms and facilities are kept in pristine condition. You can see preventative maintenance happening constantly, ensuring the resort remains top-tier. Overall: We highly recommend Dreams Flora for a high-energy, clean, and welcoming family vacation. We can’t wait to return!

Our family had a GREAT experience at Dreams Flora. We came as preferred club members and found great value at this resort, especially because of our access to the preferred family pool, sit down restaurant for breakfast, and having a butler. We had booked a swim-out room because we had a baby who napped regularly. This room type was A WIN! The swim-out connected to the main pool and was set-up like a lazy river which made it peacful, quiet and fun for our older kids who got to swim back and forth to the big pool throughout the day. We were very impressed by the staff at the resort, especially at Seaside Grill. When traveling with kids you have all sorts of needs and this staff exceeded our expectations in the ways they cared for our family throughout our stay. I particularly want to shout out: Neura, Jonathon, Jandra and Juan. The food at the various restaurants was better than anticipated. We have traveled to other Dreams before, but found here the food was fresher and overall well made. Lastly, we did have a Butler, Nathanial, who went out of his way to care and meet any needs we had throughout our stay. Grateful to have such a wonderful experience and level of service throughout our vacation!

The resort is absolutely amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and engaging. Our concierge, Arjenis was great. He communicated with us daily, made sure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely request him for our next stay :) The restaurants had some great options but the short ribs at Portfino were the biggest hit. The pool areas and the beaches are well maintained. Two of the days we rented a private cabana on the preferred beach. It was worth every penny. Can’t wait to go back.

Overall we had a great experience staying here, just a shame it was for one week only. The resort is clearly quite new, and everything felt clean, modern, and well-maintained throughout our stay. We also felt very safe the entire time, which made it easy to relax and fully enjoy the holiday. One of the highlights was definitely the beach — it was clear of seaweed, which made a big difference compared to other areas in the region. The sea itself was beautifully warm and perfect for swimming. The rooms were another standout feature: spacious, comfortable, and with a luxurious feel that made it easy to unwind after a day in the sun. There was also a good range of activities during the day, so there was always something to do. A special mention goes to some of the waiters, chefs and entertainment staff, who were absolutely brilliant — friendly, engaging, and really helped make our days more enjoyable. It was great that all the buildings were low rise, well spaced out and easy to navigate with lots of signage. The thatched roofs were very tropical and authentic which made the aesthetics of the place so refreshing and relaxing. Although the resort was at capacity, it never felt like it was crowded or noisy. The landscaping was beautiful and the family resort feel was perfect for our party of ten that ranged from aged 11- 81. There were numerous Spring Break teenagers having fun, but a good job these Americans don't party until late at night and eat early in the evening so were barely noticed. The only area that could be improved was the food, whilst the restaurants were varied and numerous for the a la carte, we found to be average overall (food and service). There was plenty of variety, but the quality didn’t quite match the rest of the resort. The resort struggled to cope with a party of ten for food sittings in all but the World Café. All in all, a great stay with some fantastic staff and facilities, we’d definitely consider returning.

Our stay at Dreams Flora Resort was absolutely wonderful, and we truly can’t say enough great things about our experience. The grounds were impeccably clean, and we especially loved the lush, natural foliage throughout the property—it created such a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. A very special thank you to Willie, who we had the pleasure of seeing both at the breakfast buffet in the mornings and at Portofino in the evenings. He truly made our trip extra special—so kind, funny, and personable. One moment that stood out was when there was a spill during dinner, and he handled it with such grace and kindness. His positive attitude never wavered, and he brought so much joy to our days. We also have to highlight Matilda at the preferred family pool—she was absolutely amazing! We never once had to look for her, as she was always nearby, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. Her service was exceptional, and she played a huge role in making our pool days so relaxing and enjoyable. Ana at UVC was also fantastic. She was incredibly respectful of our time, helpful, and genuinely contributed to making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Most importantly, our kids had an incredible time, which made the trip even more meaningful for our family. We are already planning to come back!
