Dreams Flora Resort & Spa

If wanting or needing a family friendly resort, this is the place. The staff was beyond friendly to us and we always felt welcome. The grounds were stunning. The rooms were clean, as we had two pool side view rooms since I had two teenagers and a few mornings they did hear the room next to them with a crying baby, so if you are a light sleeper, pack earplugs. As for hearing the entertainment from our room whether it was DJ or live singing, the only time was when the slider door was open and we had rooms in Patio 2 section of the resort. The waterslides were so much fun to go down and there were many adults going down them too including us. We thought the service was amazing.

If you're looking for fun, great vibes, good drinks and great food, then Dreams Flora is definitely it. They provided great service and the cleanliness of this resort was top notch. They had shows, a dj, a club, a variety of restaurants, etc. All the bathrooms and pools were clean. The staff were all friendly and entertaining.

Honest opinion, don’t book here if you’re on the fence. I know it’s a holiday weekend, early July, but is this the crowded season? I would hate to see it how it is during the most crowded. They just can’t accommodate guests in large numbers properly. Every time I try to do any activity from the entertainment team (other than volleyball) they are too full. Even coming early doesn’t matter. I literally watched someone sign up after I asked and was told by multiple staff it’s already full. That can’t be normal or ethical. Also eating at restaurants always requires a wait. Buffet included. For the prices we pay I can’t believe how we don’t get to the part in the activities.

We spent 5 nights at Dreams Flora in Punta Cana. The resort was amazing; the staff were all so nice and accommodating. The butler sent daily texts to inform us of the activities going on each day. The food was amazing. I wasn't sure if the preferred would be worth the extra cost, but we went with it anyway and I am glad we did. We had access to a few other restaurants and other little perks that I thought were well worth it. The pools are very clean; the water was warm and the staff constantly checked up on us to make sure we were happy and offered to bring us drinks often. The room were very clean; they offered slippers for each of us and placed chocolates on the pillows each day! I would definitely return to this resort!

Dreams Flora is a stunning resort. The staff was kind and attentive. I especially loved the shows and the preferred swim-up room. I traveled with my 16-year old son, two of his friends and their moms. We had a ball! While we made the most of our stay, there are a few watch-outs: 1.) True activities for teens are scant. The resort caters more toward children 12 and under and adults. 2.) If you love blue ocean water like me, June is not the ideal time to travel due to sargassum (spelling). While the resort did a great job cleaning it up, it left the water brown and murky. I did enjoy sitting on the beach at night but I certainly prefer a more picturesque scene during the day. 3.) I stayed in a Preferred swim-up room which made my stay feel a bit exclusive but beyond that, I feel like the resort should do a better job differentiating preferred guests. In all, the staff really makes the resort. They were fun! The bartenders were awesome. We LOVED Alberto at the preferred bar accessible from my room. The waiters Willy at Portofino and Gillian at Seaside were awesome. Our butler, Irwin was awesome. I thank them all for helping create such wonderful memories for our party.
