Secrets Tides Punta Cana

We had a great week at Secrets Tides in Punta Cana. Although the food in the specialty restaurants was not always the best, the service throughout the resort was excellent. Our room and the resort facilities were excellent. We had the preferred club suite with the swim out. The preferred club is the way to go. Andreina, our resort butler, made our stay well worth the cost. She was very responsive to our every need and checked on us regularly throughout day.

From the moment we stepped off the shuttle to the day we left, our stay was absolutely amazing. We booked this trip to celebrate my partner’s 40th birthday, hoping for a relaxing vacation and that’s exactly what we got! We booked a swim-out room with Preferred Club services and it was definitely worth it for us…especially access to preferred bars (where my favorite drink (Don Julio 😂) was always available)…shout out to Felix “ohhhh yeah, shaky, shaky, shakyyy baby!” and another special shoutout to our butler, Jaime — he was truly wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect…and also the beautiful ladies in the gift shop who remembered us by name every time we came! Every staff member we encountered helped to making this trip feel extra special — thank you! We’re already looking forward to coming back!

A very nice, new, clean, resort! Everything was well kept, the staff was friendly, and there was plenty to do on the grounds. We had a wonderful trip!

We have made many attempts through various channels to secure a simple accessible room but Secrets will not guarantee us that one would be available for us. They said they would request it on our file but that’s the best they can do. I am a wheelchair user that would require a room with grab bars near the toilet and in the shower. It’s not like I’m requesting anything elaborate or frivolous, just plain basic necessities of life to be able to use the bathroom. Travelling as a disabled person can be difficult enough without feeling this sort of discrimination. Hopefully in this day and age with the technology available someone can find a way to rectify this unfortunate situation and simply guarantee one of the accessible rooms on the property.

What an amazing place! The rooms, the service, everything is wonderful! From the moment you arrive until you leave, you will think you are in heaven! Thank you Alvaro, customer manager, for all your kindness and amazing service. Thank you Angela, at the preferred pool, for the service, the smiles and laughs and the great drinks. And thank you Jaime, our butler, for always thinking ahead of us and providing great service. It was our 2nd visit and not our last! See you soon amigos!
