Secrets Tides Punta Cana

Absolutely incredible week. We had a preferred junior suite with a tropical view. The room was perfect - no complaints. The entire resort was clean and beautiful. We had Carela for our butler, and he was fantastic. Anything we asked for or needed he helped with. Our favorite restaurant by far was Tierra - in fact we went there our last 3 nights. We also did Seaside Grill, Portofino, Meraki and the Market buffet. The Market buffet for breakfast is really good, highly recommend. We did the Coco Cafe most mornings too and usually got pastries and little breakfast items from the preferred lounge. Shoutout to Michael and Manuel at the Preferred Pool bar.

First time going to a Secrets resort and it was all that we expected! Upgraded to preferred upon arrival and for us it was totally worth it. Kept our Junior suite swim up as we loved the location. The access to the preferred lounges for drinks and snacks, the food truck and sushi bar, both fabulous food by the way, breakfast by the beach and a butler Luis who was fantastic really! Not that we had to use him a lot but what we helped us with was done right away and with a helping friendly tone the whole week. I would recommend him to anyone showing up! The resort for us, 2 60yr old young at heart and enjoy a fun night, great meals and relaxing time around the pool, this place was one of the top 2 resorts we have been too based on the 16 resorts we have been too. Absolutely will be coming back and bringing friends! Thanks for a great week

I had an incredible relaxing stay at Tides. The location is the perfect distance from the airport (less than an hour). The resort and rooms are very clean and well maintained. The Rock Show was awesome…lots of great songs to sing along with. The brisket at El Patio would be my top choice of all the food options, it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I highly recommend the chocolate martinis after dinner. The pools were a little chilly but perfect weather for lounging poolside. The white sand beach was beautiful and clean with lots of chairs for ocean view seating. The beach was also the perfect place to watch the sunrise. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Jaime was a great butler! His attentiveness, professionalism, warm personality, and great smile truly set him apart…I will definitely request him for my next stay.

As an independent travel advisor, I will share my experience. From the minute we got off the bus, it was paradise. Butler staff and the preferred club is royalty treatment worth every penny. You don't have to be preferred to be treated well, it's just worth the extra value-wise for the amenities, upgraded bar, room location, more than anything. Butlers are on the ball, also. The service, food, room location, and upgraded bar were all amazing. In-room services were a nice addition as well. Smokers have smoking sections day and night, so it's separate for people who do and don't smoke. Entertainment during the day was good, spread out throughout the day, so it was nice. Aqua aerobics, volleyball on the beach (which is technically closer to the pool/palapas), and daytime bingo were all things we participated in. Willy stood out for entertainment, and Estarlin was my butler. Look out for them, tell them Loralee, the travel agent, says hi lol. The food truck on the property was a good, quick snack. They served food quickly, which was great, and there was no long wait; it was cooked fresh in front of you. Restaurants were top!! The food was authentic to the restaurant. Italian was a shock cuz it was just as good, and I'm Italian, so I can compare lol. Seaside Grill is a grill house, not a seafood restaurant menu was great. Tierra is a bit more upscale, and the chef was amazing. Wine menus as add-ons were great. The shops on the property had nice things if you like shopping or need something you forgot. The beach was nice, and I took long walks every day. The ocean had a bit of sargassum, but was clear in front of the hotel. There is a constant truck cleaning up all day up and down the strip. All week, it was nice to see them maintain their beach. Noise ended at 11 pm, but they had a sports bar which was like a nightclub with a DJ indoors, so if you are not a noise person, you will be o.k here. They have a quiet pool with a pool bar, and a more upbeat pool with livelier music. If you are in a preferred club, they have a rooftop lounge you can use, with a nice view of the resort and the ocean. Lobby bar Alex made Gin & Tonics with a lot of love. Go see him if you can. Rooms were clean. They had a cool feature where you can connect via Bluetooth, and the speakers in your ceiling play music or whatever you are watching on your phone or device. I was on the 3rd floor, and the view was nice, a partial ocean view. Elevators were fast. Getting around was easy: one straight line to and from the beach with stairs, but there were wheelchair-accessible ramps everywhere, and even on the beach, there was a walkway and handicap palapas with a handicap sign to avoid people taking it. Tips are not mandatory, but a few dollars here and there go a long way. They are hard-working, and it's well deserved. Hope that's a good overview. The resort is a year old, help keep it clean and busy!! Have a great trip!!

We just got home from our daughter’s wedding weekend here at Secrets Tides and it was amazing! If you have been thinking about getting married here, do it!! Glaymi is the wedding coordinator and she is the very BEST! Her communication and attention to detail is top notch! We had to cancel our daughter’s original destination and rebook here and pull this off in 6 weeks and she NAILED it! Every detail was perfect! As my daughter, the bride said, everything was PERFECT! She did not have one thing she would have changed except make it last longer🩷 Here is a pic I snapped but we can’t wait to see the professional pics when they come in! Feel free to ask me any questions! Also Emerson was our Butler and he is AMAZING as well. We are vacation club members and visit lots of secrets properties and he is the very best we have ever had! Very attentive and prompt and was available for anything we needed! He even changed my daughter’s shoes from heels to crocs at the wedding reception🥰 We will be returning and for sure asking for him! We stayed in preferred ocean front, swim out, master suite, 1192 and we would stay in that one again! It was on the end so more private but right behind preferred pool and beach access. Golf Cart is available to take you up to dinner spots/clubs and we used that service some when we were tired! Overall beautiful place, we had top notch service, Alexis the bar tender was fabulous too, delicious meals and it’s filled with amazing people! We will be returning soon!
