Secrets Tides Punta Cana

We had a great six day stay in June 2026. Most of our time was spent by the pool, though we visited the gym everyday also. Restaurant offerings were fairly diverse, with overall quality varying based on the restaurant and meal of the day. Our best dining experience was perhaps at Tierra. Thanks Alexandra at Tierra for a great night! Leodanny was great in the spa. Jose served up drinks with a smile at the main bar - much appreciated! Greigs kept us hydrated poolside! She was also a gem!!!

We just got home after 6 days at secrets tides. We were on the preferred side. When we got to the resort we were welcomed with towels, champagne and a great smile. We checked in and was flawless , while we waited on our room we had lunch at the buffet and that was also equally as good. We finally got our butler Miguel who was awesome!! Took us to our room, showed us everything around the resort and was just happy to be there! We were 3rd floor preferred king ocean view. Room was amazing. Cold, mini fridge was full, and house keeping did a great job. We spent most of our time at the preferred side of the pool which was amazing. Right next to the pool bar where we met Yésica. She provided amazing pool side service. Juan C and Francisco and the pool bar were absolutely amazing. Good drinks. Good shots. Great time. The house band that played at the pool and main lobby were also great. Restaurants were good. The only one we did not eat at was the Brazilian restaurant. Had Italian the first night and it was ok. Had the steak over rice. Was decent. The bread was amazing tho. El patio was also equally as good. Especially with the fajitas. Def get those. Habachi was amazing. Make sure you reserve the first day you get there. Oceania’s was good if you like surf and turf highly recommend. The steak house was also delicious. Was a fan of the ribeye and sides. Night shows were awesome! About 45 minutes long and they were great. We did not do silent disco or beach party but they looked like a blast! We celebrated our 14yr wedding anniversary here and Miguel went above and beyond to make sure we had a beautiful room on our last night. Overall would recommend. Obviously the beach was going through its seagrass season so not much to do there but overall we would do it again next month if we could.

My family has been a part of UVC for a few years now and we have been to quite a few Secrets resorts. This resort, combined with the staff make my top 3. The resort is about 45 minutes from the Punta Cana airport so it is a bit of a drive but well worth it. This is a bigger resort, however almost everything is located in the center or up near the lobby so nothing is too confusing. The rooms here are all updated with newer style switches. Everything is touch/tap with a specific icon to turn on as opposed to other resorts with the sideways toggles that you aren't sure what they go to. Staying in the preferred area, we had the privilege of meeting Carela. He helped me arrange laundry services and even booked my massage completely so I didn't have to worry about anything. He asked every day how we were doing and if there was anything we needed. Another important aspect of the staff is the entertainment crew. Not only will they keep you busy (if you choose to be), they will also make normal activities more fun. Miyrah, Gregory, and Deivid should be on your list of people to find at this resort. They work extremely hard and will never fail to make you laugh! The restaurant service was also amazing. Jose at the breakfast buffet and el Patio helped my mom after she burned her hand but he also remembered the following day and asked how she was doing. The food at each of the restaurants was great and I'll bet I ordered almost everything at each of them. The only negative about this resort at this time of year is the sargassum (this is basically seaweed that builds up on the beach and stinks). I really like swimming in the ocean but was unable to this trip. I would recommend looking into seasonal changes if going in the ocean is important to you. Other than that, I would say if you enjoy secrets or are looking for a good couples resort this one should definitely be on your list!

So if you are an UVC member this is a terrible place to go. We had to chase them down to get our gift and did not meet our UVC rep at all. No communication from them. Had to chase them down for our UVC gift. Was given bag after having to ask for it and go to the office a day before we left, plus the bag was empty. The day we left had to go back to get our gift which was stuff that was just laying around behind them. I did not feel like an UVC member like when I go to other resorts. If my butler Jamie wasn't so excellent this resort would get zeros across the board. Jamie text every morning made it a point to find us everyday to speak and see if we need anything. I don't pay Jamie every month $300+ dollars. I pay UVC. Jamie was checking in and communicating how my UVC rep should have not my butler for the week. Entertainment was very mid and room had no snacks. Had to ask for snacks for the room the last night we had there. I realized we was missing them from talks with our friends we was on vacation with. Nothing about that resort made me feel like an UVC member. I felt like every other person on the resort and not VIP.

Loved the resort and the service was great! All the staff we dealt with from bellmen to wait staff to bartenders to butlers were polite, personable and helpful. The shows were entertaining and the food was great. Our butler Andreina kept us informed everyday by text and by stopping by the pool. We also saw her throughout the resort. She was always happy to see us and ask us what she could do for us.
