We love this hotel the food and drinks are amazing, but the soul of this hotel is the entertaiment team with they energy, they have workshop every day and at night the shows are excenteeee. Thanks soo much to gregory mayra and mileidy. We see you guys soon.

Our Stay at Tides was one off the best experience! The staff were absolutely amazing 🤩 specially the entertainment team.. All the workshops were a super plus my favorite was the Macrame and the Amber. Hope to come back soon. Thank you to all the Tides team.

Secrets tides is a beautiful well laid out resort if you like a sprawling resort, which my husband and I prefer over a high-rise. There are not only three different pools, but three separate swim up bars! We are UVC members and have been for over 15 years so there are the same restaurants that we are used to, but in the DR there were a few different ones which we did enjoy. The gym was nice and well equipped. And the spa was excellent. We booked a preferred oceanfront room and it was spectacular. Humanities in the room were great. The AC worked wonderful. The TV had good channels and it was a great place to just come and rest After spending a long day in the sun. There was a great view overlooking the preferred pool, which we spent most of our time at. The beach was very clean, and I can say this because we did walk down the beach towards the breathless resort where it was not as clean. We had a wonderful butler, Andreina, who went by Andrea, who made sure to send us a message on WhatsApp every single morning, asking what she could do for us. She booked us reservations at the restaurants, which you do not need but it made sure that we did not have to wait to get into a restaurant, would make sure we had the right drinks in our room refrigerator, ordered us room service breakfast for the next day, just made sure that we were happy at all times. She even made sure that she left me a little flower and note in my room for Mother’s Day and made sure that there was a cake at the restaurant we were at for my husband‘s birthday. She was outstanding! The only negative I have is that I thought the food was average. We were at a dream in Mexico, three weeks earlier and thought the food was actually really good. So in comparison, this food did not measure up. That and it was a very long flight from Chicago for a five day trip. But that is on us. When we come back, we will have to book more time.

We had a 10 night stay for our 25th wedding anniversary after having booked elsewhere but not being able to go due to the situation in the middle east. As we booked late the only option was preferred and our ocean view room was exceptional spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. The top positives for us were the staff, we didn't come across anyone who was without a smile and happy to help in any way possible. Josefe kept us constantly hydrated on the beach and was happy to throw in a hug or two every day. Jordy at the preferred pool bar always greeted us with the biggest smile as did the other membersof theteam. Marisol in the bear foot grill again always had a huge smile. Juan on our first visit to the seaside grill was a joy to meet. The menu was new and he admitted he was still learning it but stayed professional. Felis in el patio was scary and entertaining all in one. Anderson was another pleasant young man though we forgot what restaurant he was working in. Our stand out person of the whole holiday was our Butler Andreina. The minute we met her we instantly clicked and loved her personality. She messaged every morning and gave us the daily newsletter and made a point every afternoon of coming to find us on the beach to check in. She arranged a cabana on the beach for our anniversary, decorated our room and left a nice bottle of wine. We didn't personally have a lot we wanted her to do or expected anything but she is truly an asset to the hotel and is the loveliest person you would have the pleasure of meeting. The staff truly make this hotel. Our only negative was having a corporate event for the first few days after we arrived. I personally found it loud. Intrusive (having a preferred room the noise in the evening from the beach set up was too much) food was inconsistent. Sometimes having your main course arrive before starter has either been. Cleared or finished isn't ideal. We Sometimes felt rushed for no reason as the restaurants weren't exceptionally busy. We also had food arrive very quickly but was cold. Overall we enjoyed a relaxing break and and although nothing was horrendously wrong it also wasn't perfectly up to the standard we were expecting
