My family and I have had a very disappointing experience at this resort. When we arrived, we had to try five different rooms before we found one where the air conditioning worked (and even then, only somewhat). My aunt’s room never had functioning A/C during our stay, and despite multiple reports, it was never repaired or changed. We’ve waited in line for over 30 minutes on two separate nights to eat at Chopsticks, only to be turned away both times because they were full. This morning, I went to Sunny Side for breakfast at 7:20 a.m. and was told to wait another five minutes—even though the restaurant is supposed to open at 7:00 a.m. The condition of our room has also been disappointing. There are holes and stains on the curtains, rust covering parts of the bathroom mirror, mold (or heavy mold staining) on the toilet, and a section of the floor where the vinyl is cracked and sinks when you step on it. When we moved the table to play cards, it left black streaks across the floor that appeared to be rust or dirt. At this point, I guess I should just be thankful this room’s door actually closes. The beach is currently covered in smelly seaweed, which I understand is beyond the hotel’s control. Service has also been lacking. At the Sun Club buffet, someone usually comes by once after you’re seated, but after that it’s difficult to get any additional service unless you flag someone down. Last night, my son accidentally broke a glass at our table, and it sat there for about 10 minutes before anyone came to clean it up, despite the obvious safety hazard. The pools are also in poor condition. The water is cloudy, hair is floating throughout the pool, and the pool decks are littered with dirty plates, cups, and leftover food. Finally, we attended what was advertised as a magic show last night. The only magic was that it somehow turned into karaoke. Overall, this has been one of the most disappointing resort experiences we’ve had. Between the maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns, long waits, and poor service, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.

Go to a different hotel. This was the worst holiday I’ve ever had. Windows the main restaurant is always dirty. Staff never clean tables it’s always hard to get a table. The food here is always cold.. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner cold every single time. I went to ala carte restaurants that serve hot food only to get the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had from the Italian Restaurant. I had to wait 1 hour to get into the restaurant and then 1 hour to get my food. I then got food poisoning from this food. The staff here are in no rush and will not help you. Myself and multiple others waited in the rain outside the Tiki restaurant for 45 mins and watched 10+ members of staff stand around the bar and do nothing. They have show cooking in The Blue Water and I watched the cook multiple times cross contaminate food with using the same tongs on raw and cooked meats. Chicken is left in trays uncooked and not refrigerated. Food poisoning waiting to happen if they don’t kill someone with the hygiene practices. House keeping multiple days left no towels or toilet paper. Multiple calls to reception and then eventually a visit to reception didn’t help this. The bars are always running out of basics and the only soft drinks available are coke and sprite which normally run out and typically extremely watered down. The sea was awful and not clear blue seas like advertised it was a dark brown slug in the water steered clear of it. Smells like sewage on the beach. You will also be harassed multiple times on the beach by people trying to sell you things. It’s not peaceful they will wake you up to try sell you things. The entertainment and animation team are fantastic and probably the only thing I will say is good here. There’s different entertainment each night. (Including magic, dancing, music etc) the animation team throughout the day put out inflatables the kids, did competitions and kept kids and adults engaged and entertained. They also provided a volley ball put up a net in the pool and generally kept everyone happy. There was always something new going on each day and these people are the heart and soul of this resort.

Very nice resort. A lot in a small area but kept up and staff was super friendly. Room was cleaned every day very well and the buffet was limited but the food was good.

The experience with the explorers club was great!
