Viva Miches by Wyndham

Our stay at Viva Miches was relaxing by the beach, which exactly what we were looking for. As compared to the pool where it can be very busy especially on the weekend when many locals come to spend their weekend. The staff is very hard working and a special thanks to Alessandro who was very kind and friendly and offered many suggestions to have a good time around the resort. Also a big shout out to Anna for all her great energy.

To get right to the point: Pro's: - This is a new resort. Structural and grounds wise everything was perfect. The resort is well laid out with everything in easy walking distance. - Our room was spacious with all the usual perks. The cleaning staff done an excellent job throughout the week. - Free Wifi for all guest and yes the Wifi worked great all over the resort. - Plenty of hot water in the shower. No matter what time of day. - Unlike a lot of resorts there was plenty of chairs at the beach and oddly enough no one seemed to be hogging any chairs. - The buffet was good, food was usually hot and a decent selection. - The a-la-carte restaurants ( we tried 3 ) was good with no issues in making reservations via the Viva app. - The evening shows are just your standard resort dancing shows. We attended three and they were ok. - Most of the staff cannot speak english but do go out of their way to help you the best they can. We did encounter a couple of staff who spoke good english and they were the most friendly and helpful people you could ever ask for. The two young ladies at the main bar ( Elvira & Karol ) and the young gentleman ( Manuel ) at the breakfast buffet were super nice and always made you feel welcome. - The beach is well maintained and plenty of room. Not a lot of shaded areas. Con's: - The room mini bar is not refilled daily. When you arrive there is 4 soda in the fridge ( no beer which I found unusual ). If you want any additional soda you have to purchase at the resort gift shop. - Be prepared, Fridays and Saturdays the locals arrive for the weekend. There had to be a 100+ locals. They were very friendly and nice but be ready for long bar, buffet line ups and little to no space at the pools. - MISQUITOS: Bring bug repellant. We did not and paid the price. Upon arrival we noted several guests with their legs covered in bug bites, unfortunately we did not clue in and regretted it. There are very tiny misquitos throughout the entire resort that although small leave on heck of a bite mark on you that will itch for 2-3 days. I don't think the resort has a spray program ( we did not see any signs of one ) but I think this is something they really need to consider. Overall our stay was good. This is a new smaller resort which is still going though some growing pains but still worth the money.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely amazing stay! The hotel’s location right on the beach couldn’t be better – The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. What really made our holiday unforgettable was the animation team. They were full of energy, fun, and always went above and beyond to make sure everyone was entertained. From morning activities to evening shows, they created such a lively and welcoming atmosphere from the lads. A perfect mix of relaxation and fun – we can’t wait to come back! Best hotel and holiday we have had!

We came here for a few nights, my friend and Me and we didn’t do any excursions except we did the catamaran with Anna and Alessandro and it was amazing. Highly recommend!
