This was a last minute booking (hurricane Melissa curtailed our Jamaica trip) friends had recently visited El Gouna so recommended DoubleTree at Mangroovey. And wow what a recommendation- the hotel is beautiful but it’s the staff that really made our Christmas week break so relaxing and comfortable. I’m sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names - but Chef Marwa thanks for my perfect Eggs every day , Omnia, Hefny in the restaurant, Mo at the pool bar, the beach team - especially Beshoy, every member of the team went above and beyond. lastly the wonderful Mr Helmy - appeared to be everywhere- always chatting to guests, a kind and sincere Manager- and an absolute credit to the Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are spacious and very comfortable , we enjoyed the stroll to the beach & down to Abu Tig Marina. The care and attention to detail is the reason we have booked to return in March, see you all again soon!

Brand new hotel, very well appointed

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever visited. The design is lovely, and the rooms are spacious. The food is amazing, especially lunch and dinner. The drinks are also excellent, both at the bar and in the coffee spot. Thomas makes amazing coffee—we came back every day for it. The staff at this hotel is very nice, especially during mealtimes and at the beach—they are friendly and helpful. The one thing we missed was more activities, such as table tennis or darts. We stayed for one week, and only three days were sunny, so there wasn’t much to do on the cloudy days. Overall, I would come back again.

Modern spotlessly clean hotel. All staff friendly and helpful and not over bearing. Ideal location for families and couples. Old marina 10 mins walk away - two mins in a Tuk tuk. Rooms are modern and spacious. The whole vibe is contemporary. The food is good quality and taste. Snacks at beach and pool. Would like to see another à la carte option and the beach bar being more permanent
