Best Western Roosevelt

Went here with my sister for five days. First off, amazing that you are allowed to leave the luggage there before check in, as well as leaving your luggage safely there after the check out (checkout is at 11 and our plane left late at the evening). So we had a couple of hours to see even more of nice without the big luggage. In the mornings when the breakfast is served it’s really calm and quiet, it’s not a big breakfast but it has all the things you need to start the day with. Our room was beautiful, and the view even better!! Everything was at walking distance, a perfect place to stay at if you like a more quiet and calmer stay. And thanks to the kind staff!!! And a tip for your stay in nice, go to Monaco one day. It’s close to the train station and super easy to go there.

We stayed 3 nights in suite #403. Our room was 100% quiet (did not overlook the street side of the hotel). Our room & the hotel itself were spotlessly clean. We arrived early; hotel staff stored our luggage until we could check-in. Our coffee machine needed a new filter; we called reception & maintenance had the problem solved within 10 minutes. Wonderful service from all staff. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel's location is ideal for walking to all the amazing areas of Nice. We would stay here again if visiting Nice.

My stay at the Best Western Premier Hotel Roosevelt was excellent, but what impressed me most happened after I had already left. I forgot an item in the room, and the team went out of their way to locate it, organize the process, and make sure it reached me without any hassle. This level of care and professionalism is not something you take for granted. It reflects a team that understands what hospitality really means. Thank you for the support and the smooth handling of the situation.

Hotel Roosevelt is a beautiful place with a freshly done up 1930s style interior. The hotel staff were very polite and accommodating. The rooms are lovely, however the air-conditioning unit wasn't really working, but I'm sure that they'll work out some fixes on those in the near future. The bar area is lovely and the cocktails are tasty at a fair price. Thanks again Hotel Roosevelt and staff for a lovely experience.

1-Star Review – Good Location, Everything Else a Major Disappointment I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share this experience so others can make an informed decision. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location, which is convenient and central. Unfortunately, everything else was deeply disappointing. This property is advertised as 4-star. In my view, that rating is completely unrealistic. The hotel feels old, worn, and poorly maintained. We paid extra for an “Executive” room, and it was dated and unattractive — nothing about it justified the upgrade. The air conditioning did not work. We were advised to open the windows, which meant constant street noise and very little sleep. The water pressure was weak, and the hot water was inconsistent. These are not luxury expectations — they are basic standards. When we raised these issues, staff acknowledged that other guests had experienced similar problems. However, instead of resolving anything, we were repeatedly told to speak to someone the next day. It became an endless cycle with no solution. We were also told changing rooms was not possible. This stay was meant to celebrate our anniversary, and it was unfortunately overshadowed by frustration and lack of rest. Aside from the location, the experience was a disaster. There are many better options in the area at similar prices. I strongly recommend considering them before booking here.
