Best Western Roosevelt

My stay at the Best Western Premier Hotel Roosevelt was excellent, but what impressed me most happened after I had already left. I forgot an item in the room, and the team went out of their way to locate it, organize the process, and make sure it reached me without any hassle. This level of care and professionalism is not something you take for granted. It reflects a team that understands what hospitality really means. Thank you for the support and the smooth handling of the situation.

Hotel Roosevelt is a beautiful place with a freshly done up 1930s style interior. The hotel staff were very polite and accommodating. The rooms are lovely, however the air-conditioning unit wasn't really working, but I'm sure that they'll work out some fixes on those in the near future. The bar area is lovely and the cocktails are tasty at a fair price. Thanks again Hotel Roosevelt and staff for a lovely experience.

1-Star Review – Good Location, Everything Else a Major Disappointment I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share this experience so others can make an informed decision. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location, which is convenient and central. Unfortunately, everything else was deeply disappointing. This property is advertised as 4-star. In my view, that rating is completely unrealistic. The hotel feels old, worn, and poorly maintained. We paid extra for an “Executive” room, and it was dated and unattractive — nothing about it justified the upgrade. The air conditioning did not work. We were advised to open the windows, which meant constant street noise and very little sleep. The water pressure was weak, and the hot water was inconsistent. These are not luxury expectations — they are basic standards. When we raised these issues, staff acknowledged that other guests had experienced similar problems. However, instead of resolving anything, we were repeatedly told to speak to someone the next day. It became an endless cycle with no solution. We were also told changing rooms was not possible. This stay was meant to celebrate our anniversary, and it was unfortunately overshadowed by frustration and lack of rest. Aside from the location, the experience was a disaster. There are many better options in the area at similar prices. I strongly recommend considering them before booking here.

Just as Nice won me over at first sight, so did this hotel! We arrived quite late, but thanks to the excellent location, getting there from the airport was quick and easy. We still managed a walk along the promenade, a nice dinner, and felt completely safe the whole time, with the hotel right in the lively, well-lit city centre. The hotel kindly upgraded us for my birthday, which was such a lovely surprise. The Junior Suite was spacious, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed, with a lovely view over the streets of Nice. I already know I’ll book the same room next time. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice, and the team made sure the buffet was always well stocked. A big thank you to the reception staff for the smooth check-in and check-out. One of my favourite trips so far. Can’t wait to come back to Nice!

Great location, centrally situated in a lovely neighborhood. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well appointed, with very nice bathrooms. What truly makes this hotel special is the exceptional customer service. Special thanks to all the staff, led by a very humble and welcoming manager. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely return.
