Aktiv & Wellness Hotel Le Balze

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Le Balze. Very friendly staff, delicious food, and a spectacular location, we had a really large room with our own private terasse with deck chairs with an incredible view on the whole landscape. We had full moon over the Monte Baldo mountains. Unforgettable impressions!

GOOD. The view from the room is fantastic But other things... BAD. Breakfast could use more variety, nothing special. Why we can get the table near window during breakfast...? All table was recerved by rooms numbers... I understand when it is on dinner time, but in breakfast... I want to sit down where I want. The hotel is so old, maybe in 70s or 80s I was feeling I was paying a lot of money for very cheap old lodging.

We were very satisfied with the hotel and the service. Everyone speaks German or good English. There is a lot of staff, none of them was ever unfriendly. The room is great, the cleaning staff is very thorough and hardworking. Everything is very clean. The view from the room is gigantic. Small photo to become envious attached. The only thing is that the breakfast could use more variety. Otherwise everything is great.

We had a delightful stay at the Hotel Le Balze during our 2-week Alps tour. Some of the things we liked included the modern amenities, the restaurant (great dinner at a good price), the pool and fitness center, and above all the spectacular view from our balcony. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and multi-lingual. The only negative was the narrow road leading to the hotel and less-than-ideal parking. Once we were there, however, we really enjoyed the hotel and its amenities. Next time we'll have to stay longer.

First of all, you really need a vehicle to get to the Hotel. Reception staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Cannot really ask for more. Room is decent, nothing fancy but there is everything you need. AC was a bit of a mystery, because it was working a little by its own. Breakfast is decent for Italian standards. I would’ve appreciated more greens and veggies. Spa is basically two saunas and a salt water tub. Everyone else seemed to be there without any swimming suites, which was a bit awkward. The Hotel has a possibility for e-bike renting and the prices were compatible for other rentals. There is also a hiking path going just in front of the Hotel, going high at the nearest peak Monte Bestone. It takes about 1,5h to go around the loop trail. Overall experience was 3/5. The Hotel is a bit out of the date. Location is high at the mountains and a car is a must have to be able to move around. That’s basically a plus and a minus, because the Hotel is also outside of the worst crowded places.
