Hotel Caminetto

3rd time in a row and 4th time in total at this hotel, love it! From the food to the staff, it is excellent. Has a lovely spa/sauna area as well. Corrado as the maitre d' is superb, always goes above and beyond and makes you feel extremely welcome. Simone, who was our waiter at dinner was also lovely, with excellent service throughout the week. Laura who deals with reception is also charming and always willing to help and answer any questions you have (makes a mean cocktail as well) and lastly Cristian, who similar to Laura deals with the bar and reception and is likewise fantastic. Will be back again I am sure

My wife and I took our children and grandchildren to this hotel in Feb 26. (10 of us in total). My 4 grandchildren were age 5-8 yrs of age and this was their our first time Skiing. (Although my son, his wife and my Son in Law had skied before). This hotel is situated within 2 mins walk from the Ski lift so great location. The Hotel itself was fantastic. The rooms were well equipped and absolutely spotless. The staff were also fantastic, they could not do enough for you and you could easily feel/tell that this was a family owned/run hotel. The food was especially amazing! Best food I’ve ever eaten in Italy; beautifully, typically Italian with a great choice of dishes to choose from. Would recommend this hotel in a heart beat!! The hotel also has a kids club, my grandchildren loved it and the chap who ran this was again fantastic! We will be going again next year!! Can’t really explain the great feel and family of this hotel. !! Ps. The skiing was excellent, great choice of runs and particularly great for first time skiers!! It was 2 mins walk to the ski lift and 7 mins to the Piste.

Just came back from a week at the Hotel Caminetto. A family friendly hotel with excellent facilities. Rooms were great, hot water always, clean, well tended rooms and little noise. Ski and boot store in the rear of the hotel, accessible from within and without the hotel. Staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. Food and drink top quality. Location just at a gondola to the slopes (100m walk). Access to the ski sports, shops, bars and restaurants right there. This is a friendly hotel where you can relax.

Un’esperienza assolutamente da rifare!!! Siamo capitati per caso a Folgarida ed al Caminetto…albergo molto accogliente a due passi dalla cabinovia. Un ringraziamento particolare a Corrado, maître di sala di altissimo livello, ed al suo simpaticissimo staff. Presente, mai invadente, attento ed estremamente competente, capace di accompagnarti ogni giorno nella scoperta dei piatti tipici locali e della tradizione italiana rivisitati. Speriamo di tornare e se non sarà possibile ci auguriamo di poter incontrare nuovamente Corrado ed il suo splendido calore umano.

Second time returning and recommend highly. Staff are welcoming, friendly and superb. Food is excellent and has some fantastic choices. Hotel is spotless. Will return again.
