Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa

Vychutnali jsme si krásné dny pohody a relaxu s dobrým jídlem a pitím. Především nás oslovili večeře v ala carte restauracích. Jen nás mrzelo, že z důvodu zhoršeného počasí jsme si neužili moře, ale i procházky po pláži byly příjemné.

So far the experience has been positive and I’m happy we came here. The suite room is a little cramped if I’m being honest. The weather is scorching and the facilities and hotel itself is very clean We have just been to the Thai Restaurant on site and the waiter Giancarlo was extremely attentive and very helpful. We are scheduled to eat at The Steak Restaurant tomorrow which we look forward to

My wife and I and our two friends stayed here from June 3rd to 17th on a Jet2 holiday. Doctor Jekyll. The hotel is just what Jet2 said," Idyllic retreat on the sun-kissed Sicilian coast, anyone? Replace the hustle and bustle of everyday life with five-star luxury at Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa." "Modern, relaxing and designed with every type of holidaymaker in mind, couples and families alike will be in their element here." The rooms are light and airy with plenty of wardrobe space and efficient air con. The bars are convenient, well stocked and well served by friendly staff. The hotel itself is kept spotless with staff constantly appearing to sweep up and empty bins. The restaurants are spacious and well organised - radio contact with staff means no wandering about looking for a table, you get shown to an appropriate table indoors or outside. The staff are wonderful, special mention for Rosella and Maria Grazia in the Sicania restaurant. There's plenty of choice and food is of a high standard. Mr Hyde. On our first full day we found the Lobby Bar Terrace divided into two halves with one half set up for a reception of some sort and large tables covered with rows of "goody bags". A DJ, sited in the public half of the terrace started pumping out very loud "clubbing" music. Then the coaches bearing the new arrivals drew up and groups of, generally speaking younger guests (20s & 30s)poured onto the terrace. All apparently part of a corporate package, under the title "La Dolce Vita"! The following day the newly arrived guests descended on the main pool, leaving the family orientated pool alone, and dominated it. Loud music was played, the pool was taken over by inflatables and people with water sprays. That evening there was a party out on the front lawn with loud music and a flashing light show, making conversation on the Lobby Bar Terrace impossible. This pattern was repeated twice more over the course of our first week! We and several other guests complained to Customer Care and Khalil, to his credit, did make representations to senior management. If it had not been for his personal care and attention this review would have been graded "Poor" or at best "Average"! However as it was senior management who had authorised these corporate events nothing really changed. We also expressed our discontent to the Jet2 rep, though there was little he could do, but we wanted Jet2 to be aware of the situation as it was their description of the hotel which had persuaded us to book this hotel. The last few days reverted to what we had been expecting and was delightful. Management need to have a serious think about what type of hotel they wish to portray, as quoted above an "idyllic retreat" or a party central. Jet2 also need to think about asking more probing questions about places they are recommending.

Short break for 3 days with Daughter and 11 year old granddaughter. Clean,lovely resort but bear in mind it is very isolated and there are no facilities, shops etc within walking distance! The resturant staff ,maitre de, chefs were very nice and good choice of food. Minibar in room had a selection of drinks but only 2 small bottles of still water and one fizzy (3 people), which none of us drink. We were all inclusive so you would think this included water, an essential item in the Scilian heat. I asked for more and was told I needed to pay which I refused. Eventually reception gave me 2 small bottles of still water begrudgingly, which wasn't acceptable!! Our sleep was disturbed by guests shouting in corridors which is out of the hotels control. Also you need to be aware when ordering drinks as all inclusive guests this does not include any branded alcohol and certain drinks unless you are a Privilege guest!! Overall we had a nice 3 days,would we return I am not sure!!!

It was a great experience, food was super delicious, the music is so cool we had so much fun and the service was incredible, thank you so much to all the people who are working there and who was always there to provide this excellent service 🫶🏻 i hope we come back soon 😍😍
