Our 4 year old son LOVED the kids club. He had so much fun meeting new friends and going on all of the adventures with the team. He also really loved being in the performance. 10/10 for all the famlies traveling with little ones. Special shout out to Mimi, Tasharrie, and Akime. Thank you for making Atlas's trip so special!

** Overall Stay ** We stayed at this resort from May 13th through May 20th and I am already wanting to go back. We also got married during our stay here which was gorgeous (I will discuss that more later) We stayed on the Jamaica side. I want to start off with saying this resort was gorgeous! It’s a big resort that does require some walking (so make sure to have comfortable shoes or sandals) if you choose not to call the front desk to request pickup or wait for one of the carts to come by. We were able to just flag them down where ever we were standing instead of going to designated cart pick up spots but this may not always be the case. There are covered walkways as well if you wish to keep the sun off you. They are lit up at night which makes for a pretty walk to your building. As a woman walking back to my building by myself at times during the day and especially at night I felt totally comfortable and safe. The building we stayed at was 3 floors (we were on the 3rd floor) people said they have elevators but I did not see any I also did not actively look for them. The bell hop who take you to your room will help carry your luggage up to your room (bless those men and women for carrying our luggage up and down those stairs) you can also call the front desk before checking out and someone will come and help take your luggage down for you. The resort staff were so upbeat and friendly to our whole party. We had 69 people come and stay at this resort for our wedding. I did not notice any issues with restaurants not being open or under construction. The only part that was under construction was the beautiful staircase on the Jamaica side and one of the roads by the spa. The staircase on the Lady Hamilton side was fine and still made for great photos. ** Restaurants/Food ** Most of the ala cart restaurants were pretty easy to make reservations at and a lot of them if it’s a small group I had heard from our party they could walk up and be seated. But that was not the case for every restaurant so keep that in mind, always try to make a reservation first. There was a lady next to the reception desk that can help you with booking reservations. The buffet restaurants had a nice check in service and then the host would seat you which I thought was nice. Other resorts we went to it was a seat yourself kind of situation. The food on the buffet was good not super hot but that’s what you get with buffet food. They did have stations where the chefs will make omelets, pasta, etc. for you and that food was hot and fresh of course. There was a big selection for both Breakfast and Dinner. I never got a chance to try the lunch buffet. They have a food truck by the pool that made good food. If you go to it you have to try the Jamaican Patty’s they are amazing and they sell out fast. They do offer jerk chicken at the beach bar that people said was good. The Xtra Time sports bar had ice cream cones that our group loved. ** Swim Pool ** The swim up pool was nice, they did not enforce no kids by the swim up bar (I have been to resorts where they did that) My nephew who is under age was able to go up and get a kid drink from there. I’m not sure if the resort just was not that busy during the time we went or if the pool is just that big but I did not feel crowded what so ever. The covered beach chairs along the pool however did get snatched up fast but there were other spots with shade people could sit by the pool. The only downfall with the pool was if you wanted to go to up to the bar there was no easy or direct way unless you felt like taking the chance and try to scale the pool wall that divides the 2 pools gracefully… because let me tell ya there is nothing graceful about doing that, I tried haha. It did make for some good entertainment watching our group of people try and do that. You can go to either sides of the pool and walk up to the bar that way but for a person like me who is 5’3” it was a workout to do that. The water was pretty deep (in my opinion) up until you get up to the bar. In order to move around in the pool I had to hop on my tip toes, again I am 5’3”. They do have a beach bar next to the pool that you can get to and don’t have to go through the water. ** Rooms ** The rooms were very nice in my opinion and they blast the AC. The AC does shut off when you open the doors or patio. I brought a mini fan because you never know and I never had to use it. The one thing I suggest and saw other people suggest it is extension cords they worked amazing. I packed 2 cords one for electronics and one for my hair tools. I’d say 2-3 is fine. Some of the bathrooms people were saying did not have outlets by the sink to plug stuff in. Our cleaning lady Novelette (I believe that is how it’s spelt) was amazing so was so sweet and would check in on us when would leave our building and come back. If she saw us walking on the resort she would make a point to say Hi, I love that. ** Nightlife ** At night they had a lot of fun entertainment for everyone including kids. We did not make it to any shows as we were trying to spend most of our time mingling with all our wedding guests. We mostly liked to hangout at either the Infinity Terrace Bar or Xtra Time Sports Bar. I do want to shout out one of the drink servers at the Infinity Bar was Mary if you find tell her hi for us. She worked with our group the night of the 17th and was amazing and was so sweet she kept checking on us and made the night more enjoyable. She would even make a point as well to say Hi to us if she saw us walking around the resort. We miss her! ** Other Info ** One thing I will warn people is at night you do hear chirping all night I’m not sure if it’s frogs or what. So if you are a light sleeper like me I suggest some ear plugs or headphones to drown out the noise, it didn’t really bother me cause from the heat and sun by the time bedtime came I was so exhausted I just fell right asleep. There were some buildings that in the morning when they would use their fogger or something it would set the outside fire alarms off but that only happened twice while we were there in 2 different buildings, different mornings. Chances of that probably won’t happen to you. The other thing I wanted to point out is yes there are cats on the property however they seemed to mind their own business and half the time would run away if you approached them. There is one gray cat that did like to hangout at the Poseidon restaurant but the staff would do a good job as shooing it off. ** Wedding ** Now for the wedding part. It was gorgeous and perfect and everything I could have imagined and more. It was right on the beach with the ocean in the back. I got the bridal suite to hangout and get ready with the girls. We paid to have food and mimosas brought in which was not expensive at all and then when it got to be time they picked us all up in an air conditioned bus and drove us to the ceremony spot. We did opt to have the same bus also pick up our guests from their buildings and bring them to the ceremony before hand and it was the best decision we made for our guests. My wedding party got to stand under the covered walk way to keep the sun off them until it was their time to walk down. They kept me on the bus until it was time. The ocean breeze kept everyone pretty cool as there was no real shade on the wedding beach. It was such a flawless and smooth wedding I thought. The Grand Palladium Wedding department really knows how to put a wedding together. Ashley was amazing as our wedding planner, she really knows how to keep things running smoothly and orderly. If you are thinking of having your wedding here and have more questions please message me directly! With that being said we loved this resort and staff and so did our whole group. We are planning to come back in 5 years!
