Excellent service, entertainment and delicious food. The staff were amazing; very friendly and professional. Live music was amazing. Music at the pool was excellent.

Visited at the start of April, a couple from the UK stayed in block 33, signature level. Our overall experience of this resort was very positive. Before travelling, we were a little concerned about coming after seeing so many mixed reviews on both TripAdvisor and Facebook. We were told by TUI a couple of weeks before we travelled that works were taking place in the reception area on the Lady Hamilton side - this didn't impact our stay in any way. Checking in: No issues. We were taken straight to the Signature lounge to check in, our suite was ready, and after 10 minutes, we were on our way to our room. Only small gripe was we didn't receive our Signature welcome gifts (beach bag and cap by all accounts). We did ask our concierge, but it didn't materialise. We did, however, receive our leaving gifts. Room: We were booked into block 33 and had room 3324. We had a view over the signature pool and the signature beach area, and could see across to the sunset beach. The room was spacious, and we had a large king-sized bed. Rooms were cleaned, and towels were replaced daily throughout our 14-day stay. The drinks in the fridge and snacks were replenished daily, and the bed was turned down each night. We had read about sales pressure on arrival: Yes, we were approached and, in our tiredness, initially agreed to a 10 o'clock meeting at the gift shop. Other guests seemed to have been offered breakfast. The lady said if we chose not to turn up, that was fine, so we chose not to. We weren’t bothered again. Restaurants and food concierge/app: We found the app did not always work, so we booked most of the à la cartes through the concierge in block 33. We used the buffet 2 nights and booked à la carte for the other 12 nights. We enjoyed all the à la carte options, except the Jamaican restaurant. This may have been down to personal taste; there wasn't anything wrong with the service. Sushi was great at the Asian, and the curries at the Indian were excellent. We went to all three buffets: Mo Bay, Negril and Blue Lagoon for most breakfasts and lunches. Mo Bay seemed more popular than Negril. The food quality seemed the same; however, the decor in Mo Bay was probably nicer. Blue Lagoon has a smaller selection but a beautiful view of the pool. Service was great in most cases. We also tried the Poseidon at lunch; be aware that the Cordon Bleu is a massive portion. The sports bar also always had a large selection of convenience-style hot food on display and readily available, including fries, pizzas, burgers, and chicken nuggets. This was also open for 22 hours a day! Pool areas: We spent time at the Coral pool and at the signature section at the main pool. Both well set out, with plenty of sun loungers. Drinks: The signature lounge had a better selection of drinks than the infinity and theatre bar; however, there was a good selection of spirits to try. Service was always fast, whether at the bar or with the waitress. Signature level: We think we got a bargain with this, having booked the holiday in 2024 and paying approximately £600 extra for two weeks. The Premium drinks were nice to have, but it was the service that impressed at the Coral pool (Mario & Moisha ), signature bar (Jaivee and Kevin), and pool bar (Shawnee) Grounds: These were extensive and beautifully maintained by hard-working gardeners. There was so much work going on whilst we were there. The Lady Hamilton staircase was covered over as advised while they continued remedial work, but this didn’t affect us. The hotel also has painters and decorators working through the night, so you really couldn’t ask for more. Entertainment: This was great and at a professional level. We enjoyed the Michael Jackson Bob Marley show and the rock show. We were particularly surprised by how much we enjoyed the steel drums show. which were exceptional. Service: Hand on heart, I don't think that we had a negative interaction with any members of staff. All staff were friendly, polite and talkative. Special mention to Charlene, who worked at the Infinity bar and the rum trolley outside the Italian and steak restaurant. Lovely, friendly lady, excellent service. Jethro Jackson at the infinity bar was efficient and kept the drinks flowing every night. Overall view: After initially being concerned about this holiday following negative reviews, this hotel experience was, in our view, well worth what we paid. We have been to the Grand Palladium Kantenah in Mexico and found the Lady Hamilton to be superior to this hotel. We have a holiday booked in Mexico next Easter, but this hotel will be a strong contender for a visit in Easter 2028.

We arrived here a few days ago. We first came to this hotel for our honeymoon 7 years ago and loved it. Generally we are very happy with our holiday so far, food good and staff are lovely. The only issue we have is the volume of the music by the pool. We came here for a relaxing holiday but the music is too loud and isn’t conducive to a relaxing holiday, there is a time and place for loud music, let us relax in the daytime please
