Ocean Eden Bay

Not very comfortable, foul sewage odor Stayed June 23-25 with a friend. Room 4439 Asked for double beds, got king and pull out sofa. Sofa bed was very thin and hurt my back throughout the night. Asked for a room change, told tomorrow theyvwould see if oossible. This never happened. Front office agent was very unapologetic and dismissive. Last night after returning from dinner there was a bad odor of feces in the room. The AC absorbed it and we could not sleep. I had to open the balcony door most of the night. Reported it in the Butler group but got no assistance . In the morning one of the butlers came up to check but nothing was done. We went to breakfast and even before check out no plumber or anyone from maintenance visisted. Water backs up in Sinks when both are in use --needs urgent checking At check out, we stood up waiting to be acknowledge by the same agent that checked us in while she had a whole conversation on the phone talking about how busy it was gonna be thatvday and how many stations were set up in lobby as therexwas heavy check in. When she finally acknowledged us I was livid at her unprofessionalism. The foul odorc was reported to her and she asked ifcwe reported it in the butler group. Shexwas told yes. We asked to speak with a manager but were told she is in a meeting and I should write my number to get a call back. I told her all my details were in the reservations documents so why would I write my number again. Told her to remove my wrist band and we left. There was no apology, noone called to follow up ...This is was a terrible experience. Clearly, our money is all you care about..not the comfort of our stay. I would NEVER recommend this property to anyone. Front Desk staff need customer service, telephone etiquette training.

Stayed in the swim up room .. clean however has a moldy smell very strong .. we did see larger size native what looked like cockroaches not a ton but about 10 in a 6 day period .. swim up pool nice - big pool is huge & fun with activities it had a swim up bar, several restaurants to choose from it’s all inclusive food & alcohol.. they had a foam beach party it was AWESOME!! All of the staff were nice & helpful .. beach is beautiful but wear water shoes as there is either small rocky places or shelves of what seemed like compacted old coral reef in most places entering the water - beach water was warm - overall I would go.back for sure- but next time I’ll get a different room than the swim up

My lady and I had an incredible time staying at Ocean Eden Bay. Thanks to our poolside and beachside bulters , Shanice and Terry-Ann. Even with the busy crowd, they were fast, polite, and had a good sense of humor. Both made sure our drinks stayed cold and kept coming and brought us our food even without having to ask. They checked on us constantly without being pushy. We felt so cared for! Highly recommend this spot and ask for Shanice (poolside bulter) and Terry-Ann (beachside bulter) if you can. We have made new friends for life!!!

The stay was really good, tevin from the bell desk has been helpful, we need more people like him

Ocean Eden Bay exceeded my expectations! The resort was beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing, and everything made for an amazing stay. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it. 5/5!
