Po příjezdu na hotel jsme byly okouzleny vstupní halou, která má krásný výhled na bazény. Personál byl velmi milý a vstřícný. ve všem ochotně poradil . Animační programy na hotelu byly zábavné, animátoři jsou profesionálové a zvládají spoustu věcí . Určitě je náročná práce. Ostatní číšníci a obsluha byli perfektní, vždy milí a ochotní. Bazény a okolí hotelu velmi krásné,vždy dostatek lehátek a skvěle zásobený bar . Pokoje čisté,upravené . Přístup k oceánu trochu náročnější a dál od hotelu, ale je to příjemná procházka s hezkým výhledem na oceán. Jídlo velmi pestré, velký výběr zeleniny , ryby, maso. Za nás maximální spokojenost

Well there are quite a few mixed reviews about this hotel. Unfortunately, I went along the side of the positive comments and endured a transfer journey of approx 90 mins to get here! All I can say is thank goodness we paid extra to take advantage of the 'my favourite club' room and facilities. To our disappointment this didnt include a different standard of food! Choice at lunch and dinner very poor, certainly not comparable to other 4 star hotels. I don't even want to mention desserts, other than deep bowls of choc rice, jelly some custard style thing where a hundred spoons have gone in and out, so you imagine the scene! Yes there were themed nights but thats a bit of a cop out. Not everyone enjoys spicy Mexican or Tapas. Most days, due to weather and constant cool winds, made use of the MFC lounge and terrace on 1st Floor, where there were sunbeds which provided shelter and had a snack type lunch up there. Please be aware that the wine in MFC lounge bar is same as served in restaurant and bars, and not good. Exception is you can get cava, white and rose in MFC. Room was okay, big balcony to take a couple of sun beds. Coffee machine and restocked mini bar. Bathroom a bit tired looking. Could do with a fresh lick of paint. MFC provides a separate area to sit for all meal times with a display of wine in iced buckets/bowls. What was disappointing is the back wall was just covered in glossed MDF. Come on management at least paint in med blue or put a mural of a beach or something. Lol. The removal of dirty plates, cutlery etc was appalling. We used to put ours on the table where the wine was and on the rare occasion a member of staff came into the area, they just ignored it. This happened every day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. No site of a manager keeping an eye on what was going on. No monitoring of who entered the area. During our stay, 4 people came in and sat down without the MFC bands, not even sure they were AI but no-one checked. No idea what the soup was everyday as no labelling. Yes, evening entertainment, if you enjoy quiz nights, bingo and karaoke, but the room had the feel of a local village hall/community centre. No atmosphere just cold and unwelcoming. Again not a 4 star touch. Language is a huge problem. The majority of staff unable to understand English. Animation team more comfortable speaking in French. Tried the a la carte restaurant one evening, what an experience. Again language barrier. Staff unable to understand when we asked to explain what was in the dish being served as no menu on the table. Didn't go to beach, it looked lovely but a bit of a steep climb back to hotel. A bit of a long review but so many things to note. Nowadays it's not cheap to holiday in Canaries and if it doesn't meet expectations it can be so disappointing. Thank goodness we only had 5 days and that was plenty. Would have pulled hair out if staying for 10! Overall, not impressed with this hotel 😒 and def won't be returning. Obviously that's my personal view and other people think it's perfect. Oh hum 🤔

The location and the beach were gpod Hotel okay but food horrible as well as prosecco. Wine was okay to drink Soft drink were so fake - not really abke to drink except for water

We stayed at the Alua Village with Jet 2 for 5 nights from the 2nd of March. We had a lovely stay. This is a very good hotel with kind hardworking staff who go the extra mile to make your holiday special. We had a lovely room with huge double bed and sea view. The pool area is lovely in a good position for sun with great views of the sea and mountains. The hotel is not isolated. You can walk into Jandia along the beach about 40 mins or there is a convenient bus stop. Taxis are not expensive. The hotel reception team are very helpful. The food was excellent with good choices for everyone. The animation team were and always included everyone We upgraded to my favourite cub which as good but I would also have been happy with the hotels all inclusive package. We will definitely book here again

Probably one of the worst holidays we’ve had. The apartment wasn’t very clean, the pillows had seen better days and the mattress sank in the middle all of the entertainment was in French, so we had no idea what was going on. The announcements were also all in French and were run by what seemed like drama students who spent most of the time shouting and clowning about. This is by no way a four star holiday in fact I would struggle to give it two The food was absolutely awful — cold, bland, and very poor quality there was actually a microwave to warm your food up. The dining room floor is in a terrible state according to Jet2, this is wear and tear It looked like they’d had a flood at some point and thought it was a good idea to rivet down the laminate flooring. This was very dangerous, and if you weren’t careful, you could easily trip and we see several people do this. The only nice thing about the holiday was the communal areas and of course the weather. They were kept clean and looked ok . However, if you have mobility problems, you would struggle getting up and down the ramps, as they are quite steep. According to Jet2 on their website it says all entertainment is French but as we booked this through a travel agent we were not told this.
