Coral Cotillo Beach

My wife and I were very surprised by the high standard of the Cotillo beach. It is many years since we last visited and the difference is amazing. The staff were very good, with no exceptions. The food was served buffet style at breakfast and dinner, the selection was superb and very good quality. Drinks at breakfast were unlimited and all tastes were well catered for. The grounds of the hotel were kept spotless, cleaned thoroughly everyday and every morning the whole outdoor space was mopped and made ready for guests to enjoy their day. Reception answered all queries with a smile and sorted any problems straight away. The only criticism would be that our room was a little tired but a word at reception and new fridge arrived a few minutes later. On another occasion a lady arrived and cleaned the room thoroughly (second time that day), made sure that the problem with little ants we had was sorted and left a brand new can of spray in case of a further issue. All in all, a fantastic quality hotel and amazing value.

We had a great time. The hotel is wonderful with great facilities and exceptional staff. Breakfast is excellent . El Cotillo itself is a lovely quiet place. We will be back

We chose this hotel as the reviews were good. I stayed here with my daughter. We both wanted to relax and chill out for the week and we wasn’t disappointed. The staff are lovely and always happy & polite. The room was a bit dated but clean. We were half board. The breakfast was very good but busy most mornings the evening meal was good. It seemed most people were B&B. The pool area was lovely and sun beds were plentiful even at 10am, no rushing for sun beds at 7.30. Pool bar offered a very good drinks menu and a good lunch menu. There was no evening entertainment, but that didn’t bother us. The roof top bar next door was not open only the bar downstairs which was very quiet. Supermarket, ice cream shop & gift shop next door. Quiet beach ( no sun beds) and a few restaurants & beach bar opposite hotel. Would definitely return for another chilled holiday but if you want more then possibly would need to hire a car.

We just arrived back from a amazing holiday we stayed at the coral reef across from the beach hotel It was just brilliant room ,clean, plenty of space the top had lounger hot tub ,plenty of space We used the beach hotel for breakfast plenty of choice We will definitely be going back

No need to have feared our arrival and what we might find. Artist impressions on the website meant we were first to stay in the Coral Cotillo Reef Self Catering Apartments. Just over the road from Coral Cotillo Beach Hotel and full use of all amenities there. Clean, well looked after and serviced daily, we've had a fabulous stay. Particularly enjoyed the outdoor tub on the top terrace of our duplex penthouse. The building works did not present an issue for us, but we did play music to drown out some of the works sounds. The dust swirls around, but the cleaners sweep it away daily. Very pleasant and well equipped.
