Coral Cotillo Beach

We really enjoyed our one-week stay here. Perfection location, just minutes from the beach. The downstairs area was peaceful and spacious, with a great pool. Our upstairs room meant we could enjoy a lovely balcony, too! This hotel was great value for money, though it might not suit everyone, as it's a bit outdated. Various things didn't work (e.g. the elevator!) and it's lacking in standard room features (like a kettle, etc.) Personally, I'd go back!

Great hotel. Beautiful pool, great for swimming lengths. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room was great and although a bit tired, was kept very clean with a lovely powerful shower. Buffet had great selection. Only complaint would be the quality of the coked meat wasn't always the best (a bit chewy!) and not always very hot. But salad and cold food was always great. Really nice location, 5 mins from a very safe beach and 10 mins to harbour and quite a few restaurants to try. Not too commercial and still very Spanish looking. Had a great relaxing holiday.

Lots of damp in the walls, air conditioning wasn't working, noise from power tools from balcony in hotel close to my apartment, buffet food ok but on the cold side, security entrance to hotel worked for 1 of 7 days reported the damp issue, staff member looked at it but never kept us informed

Are fourth time to cotillo beach , excellent value for money, beautiful beaches and great location.It’s peaceful and relaxing not for late night party people no rowdy loud people here ! . You can always get a sunbed and it’s never to busy by the pool. The staff are always friendly and welcoming,nothing is too much trouble we will be back again next Christmas.

The hotel kerb appeal isn't fantastic however walk through the doors and beautiful reception area moderand clean. Staff polite and smile. The pool area is nice and well maintained. Only 2 floor levels for rooms which I liked. Bar looked ok but not fully stocked. On Christmas night I asked for a cocktail and the bar man said no he couldn't do it and I'd have to to the main indoor bar as he only had limited drinks. I couldn't be bothered to go. The restaurant dinning area is nice and modern and felt like a restaurant rather than a canteen. Food selection really good hot and cold. The hot section needs to be kept hotter as it was always like warm on the days I ate. Christmas night buffet at €30 was with it. Our room 2324 was a nice clean room with a fridge. Balcony over looking the pool. Great to see lots of hooks on the wall for clothes. Lots of coat hangers to. Safe was free to use so a good thing to offer. Beds comfy I thought and pillows ok for me. No dressing table as such but big mirrors on slide doors and in bathroom. Needs a few shelves in bathroom as I had to put my wash bag on floor. Sink area not big enough. Every day litt tiny ants appeared on bath edge so smeared a hole with shampoo it seems to stop them. Bathroom door slides and is frosted glass which my son didn't like as you could obviously see through it. There was a door which linked to the room next door which i didn't like. I could hear the guy next door coughing and TV on. It wasn't mega loud but loud enough you knew they were in. Room and bathroom size really good. Shower power good and clean. Gym, paddle courts are available. Good timetable of activities. It was quiet which I loved. Maybe not so busy with kids at Christmas so I liked the atmosphere nice and chilled. Roof top bar was closed but I nipped up to see it. It will be a nice area when it's open. Bar below lovely. Lots of space and tables. The only issue I have is it's a strange one - a top and pair of shorts and pair of jeans went missing!.. I couldn't find them. I went to reception on day I was leaving to ask uf housekeeping had them. No one was available at the time so she took my number and room number. I knew I wouldn't hear anything and these clothes had gone forever! Gutted as a favourite top from next. It's either a Ghost or cleaner who took them as that's the only explanation!! Et Cotillo is a low key lovely place. And hotel location good. I would stay here again.
