Coral Cotillo Beach

Location was handy for the beach but lacked any signs of life. No beach bars or sunbeds at all. Lots of building work nearby. Atmosphere in general is mainly aimed at the retired couple or Hill walkers. No music or entertainment at all. Which personally I found good but everyone needs a bit of fun sometimes 😁 too quiet for me. Rooms were okay. ● NO KETTLE OR TEA/ COFFEE MAKING ● they provide a expresso machine . No pods . No sugar. No tea ...nothing ..BRING YOUR OWN KETTLE ETC. Cleaners were brilliant. Value for money was poor. There was nothing that stood out. Breakfast was good. Evening meal was food lol. Tried it once...not great . NO DRINKS INCLUDED IN MEAL. NOT EVEN A GLASS OF WATER. NOTHING. Would recommend that you only book b&b . All the facilities are so pared back they are not creating a holiday experience.

One of the few places I would love to go back to. Clean and just what we needed for a break from the rain at home. Very clean everywhere and lovely staff Close to the beach and a short walk to restaurants etc

We had a very enjoyable stay in the hotel. It is very close to a fabulous beach, but if you prefer, the poolside is attractive (less windy) and there was no shortage of loungers whilst we were there. The buffet breakfast was fine for me ( I eat the vegetarian options) and kept us going until lunchtime. The town is relaxed, but populated with superb restaurants with Pez Gordo being an essential visit. The room was comfortable and the housekeeping efficient. The Solar bar rooftop lounge is lovely when open. They also allowed us a late checkout so we could make the most of our last morning. If we were to stay in El Cotillo again, we would return here.

A clean and pleasant stay in a well positioned hotel in El Cotillo. There are amenities close by (shops/restaurants/beaches) and the staff were all friendly. Food was distinctly average but a good selection. I would personally opt for bed and breakfast as the food in town is great and cheap. Nice sized pool and plenty of sun beds sheltered partly from the wind in the “courtyard” overlooked by all the rooms in the hotel.

We have just spent a wonderful winter break in El Cotillo, staying at the new Coral Reef, the sister hotel to Coral Beach. We have previously been to El Cotillo and love the area and the village. The Beach Hotel may not have the most modern rooms but what makes a stay at this hotel so enjoyable is the staff, from the hardworking cleaners to the great bar and reception staff. The whole hotel team across the Beach and Reef, work incredibly hard to ensure your holiday is a success, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast can be busy at certain times but it’s still sets you up for the day. Thoroughly enjoyed our long break.
