Fergus Cactus Garden

We went for a week and the hotel/Staff we great but sadly the food was a bit disappointing and we couldn’t find anything decent to eat for dinner but we found a nice place to eat nearby , I am not a fussy eater and I can’t understand some of the reviews saying the food was good because honestly it wasn’t and we had issues with our gut through it also most of the food was lukewarm so that was disappointing.

We’ve just returned from an amazing holiday at the Fergus Cactus Garden Hotel and couldn’t be happier. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely went out of their way to make our stay special. The food was consistently good with plenty of variety, and the location was perfect — close to everything we needed yet still relaxing and peaceful. A special mention must go to the waiting staff and bar staff, who were absolutely outstanding — always smiling, attentive, and professional. And we can’t forget Leni, who provided fantastic entertainment every evening! His energy, enthusiasm, and talent really brought everyone together and made each night memorable. Overall, an excellent experience — wonderful people, great atmosphere, and a hotel we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended!

Stopping here for 11 days half way through my stay cant fault the hotel or staff they cant do enough for you arrived at midnight due to air traffic control strike reception said get yourself a drink and food before checking in (top marks as we had been travelling all day and night) rooms are good cleaned regularly beer and food is good lenny the entertainment man 100% the best Bad bits a lot of the guest are ignorant don't smile or have any manners very rude but that's not the hotels fault going to enjoy my last 6 days here and would 100% stay here again due to the staff being so polite and helpful FERGUS CACTUS GARDEN keep up the good work

Visited for 11 nights as a couple. It's not the best I've ever visited but it's not the worst either. I would say that this is a 3 star hotel. 3+ maybe. It's probably only rated 4 for the amenities such as the spa. Positives : The staff are all friendly especially Leni the entertainer who helped to make our holiday. He's funny, very entertaining and a lovely human. The food was good at the evening meal times. Mix of food each night. The fish was very good, especially good one particular night. Breakfast was your average hotel continental breakfast. Good. It's a very good location for the beach and walking in to Morro Jable which is a 20-25 minutes stroll. Drinks prices were fair. Rooms a good size and nicely presented. Room for improvement: Towels weren't changed on some days leading us to be confused about whether to put them on the floor or not. The tea and coffee in the room isn't filled up during the stay. Bedding wasn't changed for maybe 4/5 days in week one. The room changing and cleaning didn't seem uniformed The drinks at the bar were fairly priced but you got a different size glass each time, when we were paying for drinks. That's not to say if I visited this resort again that I wouldn't consider staying. The transfer can take a 1 hour 30 to 1 hour 45 depending on how many pick ups.

Nice hotel, good rooms & facilities. Sea view from our room. Some entertainment, also good. Staff lovely...reception really helpful. Food reasonable. Pick ups & transfers all good & on time. Beautiful beaches & selection of shops to walk to easily. Went on couple trips which we really enjoyed. Buggy tour & boat trip seeing dolphins & whales. All in all, very nice & relaxing, weather just right. Would go back.
