Nice hotel where rooms are bungalows. Friendly staff. Good choice of pools. Good buffet choices. Lovely for families. Located near shops, beach about 30 minute walk.

We have just returned from 9 nights here. We had a great stay. The bungalow that we were allocated was perfect, lots of room and so nice to have your own, private space with grass and loungers. The differences between the "grades" of bungalows was confusing for us. They seem to be very different. I am aware that there are Emblem bungalows with hot tubs etc. Ours had Emblem on the door, but we had no other Emblem facilities as far as I was aware, but we were very happy with what we had. We used the gym, we swam in the pool (early) and we did a lot of the fitness classes, which were excellent. The animation/entertainment/sport team were fantastic - particulary Jade, Sophie, Alice (who has now left) and Marcus. The fitness side of the resort could be promoted more, because the availability of the range of classes really made our holiday and the evening entertainment was fun - a lot of energy and enthusiasm was put into it and, when the team were hosting the evenings, it was better than any other hotel we have visited. The restaurant was good. We were very aware that there would be a lot of children and there are, but you can choose your times around them. As a vegetarian, the salads were delicious, but the hot options are limited - but I always find something to eat. A great stay. Many many thanks and we would like to return.

First time stay at this hotel .Have stayed at its sister hotel in Tenerife twice and would stay there again . We had an emblem one bedroom villa on all inclusive basis . The villa was smaller than the one we had in Tenerife . It had a canopy missing from the pergola which we were not informed about on arrival and nothing put in place such as a portable parasol prior to it being reported to management . Hot tub not working properly on first use was rectified quickly , but shouldn’t these facilities be checked prior to new guests occupying the property ? Lack of forethought on part of management when problems could be pre-empted . Uneven floor in the garden was a potential hazard . The shower tray had chips and cracks in . There was a small black object in the shower tray on first use , after the first service of the room it was still there ! Asked for a plastic slip mat for shower tray and this was given quickly . Rooms not serviced on a Sunday . Beds in bedroom and in garden were comfortable Poor communication generally from check in staff such as not being told had to book reservation at emblem restaurant and able to have one more than one visit to La Trattoria restaurant . Found the La Trattoria to be the best food in the hotel . The food in the Emblem and picnic restaurants was never hot and barely warm at best . Went in the picnic restaurant when it opened one morning had fried eggs could not eat as stone cold ! The food in the snack bar near the children’s pool was no better again food barely warm and bread dry , did not eat there again . Pizza in Picnic and snack bar worst I have had anywhere in the world . Food sometimes of poor quality and because of this and the temperature did not eat as much as food as uninspiring , however it meant I lost 1.5kg in weight which was a bonus rather than putting some on ! The emblem restaurant you had to download daily menu using a QR code , not everyone can and wants to do this , staff did provide a physical menu for evening meal but not for breakfast so only dined once for . Had to send a dish back in the emblem restaurant one of the evenings as not cooked properly and cold . Breakfast felt started too late at 8am meaning it got crowded as soon as it opened and if going on a trip might not have time to eat . WiFi hit and miss at times . Used the SPA quite expensive for treatments but enjoyed them . Free bus three times daily to Maspalomas for beach and Lighthouse , we used this at 9.15am , took about 20 minutes to get there and got a taxi back as first bus back was not until 2pm . Animation team provided activities during day and night , some of which worked better than others . The location of the hotel for us is too far away from the beach , bars , restaurants , etc . The friendly and helpful staff are the hotels main strength . We would not consider a return to this hotel in Gran Canaria .

Conflicting information on the all inclusive packages and events around the resort including early check out procedures. Food was good but not hot enough for us. Not a good start to our holiday. However, the staff went out of their way to make our experience better as they could see we were disappointed particularly Joaquim the restaurant manager. The entertainment and bar staff were also very good.

Nice breakfast and friendly staff in hotel. All worked greatly during our visit in hotel.
