Amazing hotel for families! The rooms are ideal and so much space! Love that everything is ground floor so don’t need to worry about the pushchair! Pool areas are great and always plenty of beds! We weren’t going to the pool till about half 9 and we’re still loads to choose from! Buffet was good and always a varied selection of food! The staff are all so friendly and are so good with all of the children! We were travelling with our 11mo and everyone was so lovely with him (especially Cris! She is such a lovely lady!) There was always plenty of highchairs in the restaurant too. The rooms you can cast Netflix to the tv which is good touch but ours was very temperamental and I would say didn’t cast around 50% of the time (not a big issue though just something maybe for the hotel to look at). The location is also great for bars/restaurants/the beach and everything is walking distance (or a short taxi ride) There is an onsite supermarket which is ideal for bits and bobs (we used it for ice creams and drinks for the room). They were however trying to charge €15 for a pack of nappies which is extortionate but we walked 2 minutes down the road and found a SPAR selling them for €3.50 so don’t be fooled into buying nappies from the dinostore. Only other suggestion I would make is to provide bottles of water in the fridges in the room but again wasn’t a massive issue as there was a shop onsite where we bought a couple of bottles and we just filled them up from the water fountains in and outside of the restaurant after that. All in all is a great hotel for families and I would probably return. I maybe wouldn’t recommend if you didn’t have children but for families with children it is everything you’d need!

This is a good hotel that with a few small improvements, could be great. All rooms are bungalows which is a nice change and provides outdoor space for all travellers without needing to go to the pool. We had a room with a private garden and hot tub. The kids pool we went to most days was great and lots of space around it on sun loungers. Food at the hotel was incredible, a really good all-inclusive food offering at the buffet. Alcohol offerings were also very good, as was the service at the bar. Our bungalow was fine, but a very very small bathroom for a family of four which was not as clean as we'd have liked on arrival. Our main issue was that the room was infrequently cleaned and often forgotten when cleaning staff were out to the extent we had to continually contact reception to remind them of cleaning and/or towel changes. We were given inconsistent information on cleaning and towel changes. Due to these two issues it did not feel like a four star hotel as advertised by TUI. Our bunaglow smelled terrible most days with a smell coming from the main sink. This would reduce after cleaning, but as mentioned above, our room was cleaned infrequently so we had to suffer it. The outdoor garden we had was also never cleaned (though the hot tub was daily). Overall the condition of the bungalow stopped the trip being great, and the amount of time we had to speak to reception about it was a bit of a downer on what was quite a pricey holiday for May. There is a great sports bar in the hotel but the bar was not staffed the whole time i was there, which is not what is advertised. There was also inconsistent information from the reception about what fixtures were being shown that caught a few people staying out, and was frustrating because it stopped us finding other local venues on time. Night time entertainment was good as was the kids entertainment. The hotel is in a good location and only a 25 downhill walk to the beach. We arrived very late for check-in (past midnight) and unfortunately our check-in experience was very poor as the gentleman who checked us in gave us minimal information about the hotel, so we never felt fully aware of what was on offer and had to ask other hotel guests. Our airline had lost our pushchair for the youngest child and we explained this at check-in to be told that there were places locally that could rent us a pushchair. Two days later when I enquired again at reception where these places were, it turns out the hotel has numerous pushchairs you can rent for just 20 euros. A really useful service from them, but so frustrating to be given the wrong information on check-in, instead of just offering us use of one of the pushchairs. A good holiday and decent hotel I would recommend for families. Just a shame about the very small bathroom, incorrect information at check-in and lack of upkeep of our bungalow.

We’ve had a wonderful holiday at HD Parque Cristóbal, and Antonio and Acoidan at the Emblem Restaurant have been a big part of that. Both were always friendly, attentive and professional, and they made our family feel genuinely welcome every time we visited. Nothing was too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. A real credit to the hotel. Thank you both for looking after us so well and helping make our holiday so memorable. Highly recommended! 😊

Great stay at this resort, we stayed in on of the bungalows self catering. Was very clean and well looked after. There were 5 of us including 3 children and there was plenty of space. We chose self catering as we wanted to save a bit of money and also eat out when we could. We had bungalow 7 which was right near the splash pool are which was great. Here are some points that I think about or just info really. Splash pools were great for the kids (and us) there were plenty of loungers and most you can get a good view of the kids pools in the splash zone so great for keeping an eye out. I would get swim sock/shoes for your kids to go in, partly because the floor gets extremely hot and they WILL burn their feet waking to and from the pool side. Also the bottom of the pools is quite rough and my kids scraped their knees and top of feel etc from paddling and general play. You can hire towels for the pool area, not sure how much as we brought our own to use. There is a small place to hang clothes to dry outside which is great and we brought wash stuff to clean our swimwear so used that space a lot. They do have day passes so the weekend days are busier as locals come to use the facilities so you will need to get there early for loungers on those days. There is a supermarket on site which has more branded food that we would be used to but some stuff can be expensive. Your hotel band that they give you will open the gate to the outside next to the supermarket and if you walk left down the road about a minute or two there is a spar which is much cheaper on things like crisps/drinks/cheese etc. so we used that most days. If you need a late check out (check out is 12) you can only ask that day (I think it’s free) It would be good if you could just pay a bit extra to have a late check out as our transfer wasn’t until 5pm as we were on a late flight. We couldn’t check out late which did stress me out on the last day as didn’t know what to do for the rest of the day. The hotel told us we can use all the facilities until we go just not our room so we did stay by the pool all the day with our hand luggage (they stored out suitcases) and we used the gym showers and changing rooms with is by the main pool near the lobby. This did help us as we managed to wash the kids and change before our departure time, so if you get stuck like us I hope this helps. The safe in the rooms isn’t free, it doesn’t state anywhere on or around the safe (there are leaflet things on how to use it etc) or on the paperwork they give you that you need to pay for it. It’s €3 a day. We didn’t bother as we only really needed it for the beach trip we took and that was near the end of our stay. There are free shuttle coaches to the beach, if you go, go early as you will need to pay for loungers if you want shade. Or you can bring/buy a parasol there for around €13. I think the loungers are €7 but we didn’t get there early enough so we bought a parasol. Also there are a lot of beach sellers. There isn’t a massive amount to do around the resort so just keep that in mind, it is very kid friendly so lots of children, so if you want peace and quiet as a couple or on your own don’t go there. If you have kids they will love it. There are plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. We went to Aloha burgers and it was great. Tasty food and well priced. Overall we had a great holiday, and we would happily go again.

I do not normally do reviews but I felt I should share this hotel. Firstly the place is kept spotless, yes you get spilt drinks and some people do not clean up after themselves but that's just a busy hotel. Secondly we travelled with our two children, their partners and our two grand children 11months and 15 months, we had naturally panicked in regards to food but there was no need, every day there was fresh food cooked freshly and regularly taken away if cold, breakfast was lovely with as much English food as you could eat. We had upgraded to an Emblem room which worked well with high end spirits available and premier beers. Best of all were the staff, Alberto and Eva were simply amazing and made our holiday that little bit special but all the staff were great from cleaners to bar staff and reception people, always happy to help or advise you through your day. Well done to all Andy
