Jardin Tecina La Gomera

It's our last day of a very relaxing stay. This time we stayed in the adults only area pure vida because of the work being carried out on the club laurel pool area . Thank you Louis for sorting out the change of room and recommending this area for this stay. The room had a beautiful view and as always spotlessly clean . The adults only pool area was so quiet you could hear a pin drop Breakfast was as good as always , fresh coffee still being severed at the table , which most hotels have changed to them disgusting coffee machines.. so well done All the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. We ate 8 of the 9 nights in the gara restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was second to none Massive thank to Kai, angel ant the very funny Miguel who as always went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable meal Beautiful hotel where it's easy to disconnect from the outside world

Visited here as a group of 31 - mixed golfers/non-golfers. Absolutely tremendous from start to finish - lovely hotel and facilities, great room overlooking the sea, staff outstanding, food in the restaurant terrific. The set-up is perfect for a short golf break........I can highly recommend.

A nice hotel in a lovely but isolated location. The accommodation is in bungalow type format on an uneven site. Gardens are lovely. Pools are also lovely. Downside - the registration at Reception must rank among the world's slowest. Why/ They don't do any more than anyone else but typically at least 5 minutes to get through the bureaucracy. The bedrooms are a bit on the small side and the wardrobe space and in particular the hanging space is far too small. Food in the buffet is only average. The Spa is rather poor. No pool only an area with jacuzzi type jets. Just not worth the effort. Upside - despite the reviews the cabaret is actually very good. A number of pools but only 1 of any size. A lift takes you down to a tunnel which in turn takes you to a footpath which eventually gets you down to the mini harbour and very modest village. The footpath area is very tatty with abandoned and formerly squatted homes and some very dubious looking eateries. If visiting this hotel be prepared for a great deal of walking. That is probably a good thing. The Hotel has lots of tennis courts and outside Padle Ball Courts. You will be charged around £20 to hire these for an hour including racquet hire. Despite what is promised on the website the hotel squash courts are not in use.

The Hotel is extremely well managed with warm friendly and a very helpful team look after all your requirements. Very good amenities and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sun

Jardin Tecina is everything you could wish for in a hotel. Situated on a cliff top high above the small town of Playa Santiago, a perfect spot to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. The hotel is easily accessible via the cliff side lift from the village. A refurbishment programme was completed recently, both the bedrooms and public areas are very clean and well maintained. We booked a sea view (Horizont) room and it was worth every extra penny. My request for an upper floor room was also fulfilled which was very much appreciated. The hotel was very busy being high season but the restaurant staff handled mealtimes effortlessly. The buffet breakfast and dinner options were of a high standard considering the numbers catered for. We enjoyed the botanical walks around the gardens and banana plantation by Jürgen, he is very knowledgeable. The elegant pianist from Denmark plays beautifully in the bar every evening, she even played Loch Lomond for me when she found out I came from Scotland. Weather wise it’s worth knowing that this is the sunniest and warmest part of the island. The staff in the hotel work very hard to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. Excellent hikes in the area, especially from Imada which is accessible by bus. We simply can’t wait to return.
