I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay was marred by an unpleasant experience with one of the staff members. During an interaction whilst having breakfast, a member of staff made an inappropriate and unkind comment that left me feeling very uncomfortable, telling me I could not have eggs because of my “baby” in front of the whole breakfast buffet. I expected much higher standards of professionalism and courtesy from a hotel in this price range, and I don’t expect to be insulted when I don’t even consider myself big! As a grown adult I can decide what food I consume, pregnant or not, which is completely insensitive. While the room was fine and the facilities were adequate, that single interaction overshadowed the entire stay. Management should really address staff training and customer service—hospitality depends on respect and basic decency. When making a complaint in the hotel my cousin had to argue in Spanish a way to gain the complaints procedure which took a long time to gain, and no compassion or compensation was offered. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and i recommend other nicer hotels in the Calleo Salvaje area.

Our 3rd visit to Mynd Adeje and another great time. As always we were greeted well and the reception staff were very welcoming and freindly with a cold drink for us. Room was great and although we had a problem with the Internet it was sorted quickly for us. Many thanks to Bianca and the team who looked after us extremely well and made sure our stay was perfect. All of the staff at the Hotel are warm and freindly and we had help with where to go for a day to do some shopping. Spent most of the time at the pool relaxing which is always clean and well looked after and the pool bar staff got to know us and our drink preference. Rooms cleaned every day and always spotless when we returned. Good selection for breakfast every morning and plenty to choose from. Would fully recommend this hotel for a freindly and relaxed break in Tenerife. Many thanks again to Bianca and all the staff at Mynd Adeje.

Recently returned from holiday at the MYND Adeje. In general we support the majority of positive reviews on this site. The highlight for us was all their amazing friendly and helpful staff and in particular those on reception who we would chat to and from whom we would obtain advice and be served drinks from the ELHOLA lobby bar. Their names are Bianca, Naomi, Lucia, Silvia, Ainwoa and Javier (hope i have spelt all their names correctly). However, it fell short of our expectations in the following areas:- 1. While food quality is generally very good, we considered the evening menu was fixed and very limited with inflexible side dishes, so you would have to pay additinally for any alternatives. Definetly, not suitable for stays over 7 days and we felt this contributed to the majority of people staying at the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Also, the cooked fatty ham available at breakfast was no substitute for good quality bacon and from our observations very few people seemed to choose this. 2. What little entertainment there is, is very low key. 3. The reception/bar area had no atmosphere at night, and unless there was football on the big screen this was not utilised by many guests. In fact most nights it would be just my wife and I sitting in there having a drink. We enjoyed our holiday, however, will we return - probably not as we prefer a hotel that offers a little more entertainment /things to do, especially in this case as there are only a few bars and restaurants around in the village. We would be interested to hear from the hotel manager regarding these comments.

This really is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are all ultra friendly. My first point was what a personal check in we received a very kind man sat down with us to explain all the details of the hotel and how the half board option works which I have to say is such a good idea the fact that you get credit on a wallet that you can spend on any drinks or food during your stay. The rooftop bar is a must visit to see the amazing sunset and enjoy the amazing cocktails . Highly recommend a visit

We have just returned from another lovely holiday staying at Mynd Adeje. Special thanks to the reception team, Naomi, Ebrina and Lucy led by Bianca, who always welcomes us personally. The Lecumbre rooftop bar is our first port of call with fantastic views over the mountains and sea, if you can, stay for the sunset. Pierre and the rest of the team, that manage the bar, always make us feel really special. An afternoon at the Alagua pool is always made better with Fernando's friendly face and big smile. Nothing is too much trouble for him, especially at cocktail time. Another big thanks to Maidey who looked after our room leaving it perfect every time. Finally, we love the hotels green credentials, being treated like family, in a relaxed environment. All good reasons why we are back again in June. Dave and Caroline
