The Ritz-Carlton, Abama

We left the baby camera in room 211 on Saturday and have contacted them 4 times to try and get it back. No one phones back or emails who have said they will. Apart from this it was wonderful

Because the hotel is built into the side of a mountain, it is full of steep slopes (up to 30% decline) and not supperted steirs - a nightmare for someone with impaired mobility

A fantastic place. The rooms are spacious, bright, and very comfortable. The service is very good, and the breakfast is incredible. This is already our 11th time staying here, and everything is simply wonderful. The service is excellent, although sometimes a little slow. All of the restaurants are excellent as well. It’s important to book the restaurants and activities at the same time as your room reservation, otherwise it can be difficult to get availability. We will definitely come back — truly an outstanding experience.

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton for the second time, but our first time with a new family. With two boys age 2 and 9 months I was apprehensive of going away, however the hotel couldn’t have been more kind or accommodating for me and my family. From the staff being beyond wonderful to my kids, to filling up my kids bottles with milk every evening, prioritising the kids food at every meal time, helping me with a spare room to shower in after my baby spent a day in the hospital and lending me a car seat to get in a taxi there. Their kids pool is absolutely amazing and so safe, the have a little playground which my kids loved and beautiful grounds to walk in. Plus my kids adored the train that travels up and down the resort every day. We had the best time and made the best memories. I can’t wait to come back
