This trip was the first ever I take with my kids, 5-year-old twins, so bear in mind I thought I was going to be on my toes with them. The location of the resort is superb, considering that it is only 40 minutes by speed boat from the airport. The hotel has set out everything for family trips, from the broadest details as room design to the most specific ones as depth of the swimming pools and water attractions. The food menus in all 3 restaurants are catered for kids and adults likewise to ensure everyone has something of their preference to eat. I LOVED the fact that I don't have to worry about my kids being in the pool, considering that only 1 of them knows how to swim well and the other one is still learning, plus that all pools have at least 1 lifeguard. The lazy pool was also very much enjoyed (minus the fact that there are no complimentary floaties that can be used by guests, considering that this is a water park, so that's feedback that the hotel needs to improve on). The overall ambience and atmosphere were very relaxing and chilled, especially during the nights when we went crab hunting (HAHA!) and star gazing. I loved every part of it and came back fully energized for the busy life back here in Dubai again. We all made beautiful memories, and that's the main goal of almost every trip you take with your kids at this age.

A resort that’s really thought about children and what they and parents want! Really lovely rooms with separate space for kids. Splash pad was great for young and older children. Could do with a bit more shaded areas around that pool but otherwise was a great space. Food was great but did get a bit boring after 10 days. Think they could do with another restaurant or day time choices. Unfortunately you had to pay extra to eat at your sun lounger or round the pool which was a shame as with young kids it would have been preferable. The staff were fab and a particular call out to all the lifeguards who knew our daughter by name and were so attentive to keeping all of the kids safe. Great resort and would definitely comeback

Everything was excellent, especially our Housekeeper Jewel … he was 11/10. Resort still new, service was always excellent and the food and the range of foods was impressive.

We traveled there as a family of four, 2 kids ages 3 and 5. And we had the all inclusive package for 6 nights. Service was amazing from the time we were greeted from the airport. Wait for the speed boat took about 1 hour, and speedboat took about 40 minutes. The children had a wonderful time watching sharks , stingrays and lots of fishes swim close to shore and the beach was just amazing. The resort is very clean, rooms were clean and the housekeeper Priya was always smiling and so attentive! We loved the team at the Dolphin Bar, Nazrul always remembered our favourite drinks, and we never had to wait very long for our drinks even though it can get quite busy. Food quality is good, however, not a lot of variety especially for the children. The children section was always nuggets/pasta, even for breakfast. By day 3, we could predict what was coming up in the buffet spread. Food in Suan Bua is great! Acqua was good. Only downside is that the resort lacks shady spots, so it can get really hot during the day, making playing on the beach a little tricky, and sometimes hard to get a buggy. Not so fun to carry a sleeping child and walking under the sun.
