Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa Maldives, The Centara Collection

Perfektní barman. Ochotny, přátelsky a rychlý. Shafiq is best !!!

Nemohu dát 5*, protože...byli jsme na Maledivách už 6x, viděli jsme jiná místa. Centara je malý resort, všude je blízko, dobře dostupný hydroplanem z Malé. Ubytování - vše v pořádku, úklid denně, nové ručníky, voda a plný minibar. Bydleli jsme v bungalovu 111, je to blízko fo restaurace i do obchodu, ale také je zde přístav, lodě trochu smrdí, když odjíždějí. Bohužel 4 noci byla vedle ubytovaná skupina z Indie, strašný hluk a nepořádek, brali nám plážová lehátka i ručníky a nemohli jsme spát, poslouchali nahlas hudbu. Řešil jsem to asi 3x a to na dovolené nechcete!!! Už bych také nejel na výlet za žralokem obrovským - na moři je 40 lodí a je to hon na žraloka. Pak se objeví a na 5 minut skočí do vody 100 lidí, to je hrůza a kde je úcta k přírodě...jsou to vyhozené peníze! Masáže kvalitní, byl jsem 1x. Dobrá thajská restaurace, ale v rámci all inclusive přesto nutné za některá jídla platit...Totéž platí v Reef baru, za některé nápoje se platí, například mojito za 13 USD. Na ostrově je ale klid, moře je čisté a na šnorchlování to není daleko, viděli jsme želvu asi 5 metrů v moři. Nejsem si jistý, jestli se sem chci vrátit, podívám se rád i na jiná místa!

Well we weren’t meant to be there for 2 weeks but with all that was happening in the world, we needed to stay longer and I actually wouldn’t change things at all. We felt safe on this beautiful island and had the most amazing and special holiday with family and friends. The staff take genuine personal customer experience to the next level, were treated like royalty and like we were their oldest friends. Thank you to the lovely Salman for helping us navigate this time and being extremely considerate. A massive thank you to Rischard and Chef Sentil in Club for serving us like royalty and making us delicious breakfasts and special Thali meals. It was my birthday while I was there and I don’t think I’ve ever had such a good birthday! A huge thank you to our friend Desmond in Reef restaurant who was always there, keeping our drinks topped up with a friendly smile and to Chef Sarath who cooked us absolutely amazing Sri Lankan curries and also cooked the fish that we caught on the fishing trip, the tuna was especially delicious. Thank you also to the other staff in there DJ, June and May. To all the guys on Coral bar, thank you for your brilliant service, always so accommodating and friendly, Kumar, Shafiq and Abishek. Thank you Sujith for the amazing yoga and fitness classes and for doing a daily drive round the island with Frankie! Thank you to Huhthu and Arleen for the excellent entertainment! Thanks to Sonny and Ashiq in the Italian, we will miss you Sonny when you move on, your sense of humour is brilliant! A huge thank you to Islam who looked after us in our villa, such a great guy and we didnt want for anything. Others who we would like to say thank you to finally are Pradeep, Fitty (thank you for the snorkelling), Anil (your driving is just fine :-), Dream, Susie and Ratu in the spa, Naba, Ajith, Jasim, Ayka. Meaw, Pablo, Marx and Jonathan in the Thai who were lovely hosts to us in there. We will miss each and every one of you and hope we will return very soon!

Manila was amazing. Was a great place to stay with awesome house reef and service.

Would like to start by thanking all the staff at the resort they were all so kind and welcoming. Would come here just for the staff interaction ☺️They were very helpful and patient when we had questions and happy to help. The food was phenomenal big credits to the chefs at the resort I have a very satisfied belly. The buffet was wow!! Would recommend anyone couples/families to come here and relax and enjoy the island ❤️
