Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa Maldives, The Centara Collection

Nemohu dát 5*, protože...byli jsme na Maledivách už 6x, viděli jsme jiná místa. Centara je malý resort, všude je blízko, dobře dostupný hydroplanem z Malé. Ubytování - vše v pořádku, úklid denně, nové ručníky, voda a plný minibar. Bydleli jsme v bungalovu 111, je to blízko fo restaurace i do obchodu, ale také je zde přístav, lodě trochu smrdí, když odjíždějí. Bohužel 4 noci byla vedle ubytovaná skupina z Indie, strašný hluk a nepořádek, brali nám plážová lehátka i ručníky a nemohli jsme spát, poslouchali nahlas hudbu. Řešil jsem to asi 3x a to na dovolené nechcete!!! Už bych také nejel na výlet za žralokem obrovským - na moři je 40 lodí a je to hon na žraloka. Pak se objeví a na 5 minut skočí do vody 100 lidí, to je hrůza a kde je úcta k přírodě...jsou to vyhozené peníze! Masáže kvalitní, byl jsem 1x. Dobrá thajská restaurace, ale v rámci all inclusive přesto nutné za některá jídla platit...Totéž platí v Reef baru, za některé nápoje se platí, například mojito za 13 USD. Na ostrově je ale klid, moře je čisté a na šnorchlování to není daleko, viděli jsme želvu asi 5 metrů v moři. Nejsem si jistý, jestli se sem chci vrátit, podívám se rád i na jiná místa!

We just returned from Machchafushi and had the most wonderful time! Everything and everyone is amazing. The size of the island is perfect for getting around and very well laid out. The food at every restaurant was incredible, although we mostly ate at the buffet because it was so delicious - and the drinks were lovely, anything you could want and a great selection. Our over-water villa was our favorite that we stayed in yet, the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean - but being able to swim out to the amazing house reef really took the cake. There is a healthy coral system, tons of sharks, fish, turtles, rays - I mean it was just breathtaking. We are also divers and they treated us well - do the night dive if you are a diver, it was very cool with the nearby wreck. We really could not have had a better stay - special shout out to May and Habib at Reef, Ravi at the pool bar, Mini at reception and Anantha (sorry if i spelled this wrong) at the dive shop. For reference we have also been to Oblu Helengeli and Constance Moofushi and Machchafushi edges out both of them.

We spent Easter on Machchafushi as a family of twelve , it was an amazing holiday .The island is beautiful and easy to get around . Our garden villas were spacious with every comfort on both levels . They were so clean and we were well looked after by Samsul during our stay . The laundry service we received was so appreciated . We had the use of the Club area which was fabulous , an oasis set around a pool .The staff were so lovely , Rohan Suoodh, Vivek Mery Ashik , May and June . I could name so many staff because they were all so helpful and pleasant . Every staff you saw had a smile and a greeting and they were always happy to help . The general areas of the Island were so well kept and you felt so at home , so relaxed . The restaurants were great as was the buffet . The food was varied and always tasty and they were always happy to help with requests . The Italian was our favourite it was in such a beautiful setting . We were on the ultra all inclusive package which excellent valve . The beach activities were great and really appreciated by all the family and the snorkelling was excellent around the island and on the boat trips . Overall this was an outstanding , special holiday , the only downside was having to leave this beautiful resort . Thank you to everyone .
