Reethi Faru Resort

A really lovely Maldivian island break away from the stresses and strains of real life. Hosted by friendly staff who go the extra mile.

We had the pleasure of staying at Reethi Faru in a Garden Villa at the end of July 2025, and what a pleasure it was! We have been lucky enough to stay at a number of other Islands over the years, but for us Reethi Faru just has that little extra 'something' that other islands have missed. The Garden Villa was roomy with an inside/outside bathroom and a decent sized deck area at the front. Bryan, our room boy kept the villa lovely and clean. Jannesh did a sterling job of keeping our mini bay stocked as well as being a fantastic waiter at the Reethi Grill and Dhiyavaru restaurants. We opted for the 'dine around' all inclusive package and it was worth the extra cost, all of the additional restaurants were excellent and offered a really good selection of meals, including vegetarian and vegan options. The vegan/vegetarian restaurant was lovely! Special shout out goes to the head chef at Reethi, who made the best panner curry ever! Vakaru buffet was also very good and offered lots of options as well as the different theme nights and again catered well for vegan and vegetarian guests. Facilities and activities on the island are varied, my partner enjoyed the company of the dive team and the many dive sites he visited and I enjoyed my visits to the spa and snorkelling the reef, lots to see; baby sharks, parrot fish and many, many others. Bars are great and the staff willing to help, the daily specials were all worth a try. It was lovely to see that staff from the dive centre and spa used the Haruge bar in the evening and were enjoying their downtime. Lots of wildlife on the island, probably more than I expected, I guess that only goes to prove their habitat is ideal for them to thrive. All in all I couldn't fault the resort, it may not be the most expensive resort but it is without fail the most perfectly laid back, friendly and welcoming resort we have been to. Looking forward to coming back many more times!

Exzellent Resort, super good Diving school- every Diving Trip was fun and an gorgeos experience, saw so many big Fish Like Manta and Shake shark! I can also recommend the AIP dine around Package! Every Single Restaurant prepared stunning meals with extraordinaty flavours and love! Also the staff is polite and lovely! Moreover the Water Sport and Fitness Center is defenitely worth a visit ! All in all Great holiday with so much good good nice Water sport and beautiful sea and weather and good service!

This is a lush island, a real jungle inside with pristine beaches and a house reef that offers good snorkeling! It is probably the most beatiful island in the inside i've been to, as it used to be a coconut plantation and interior pathways are palms' paradise! We were really happy that we opted for All inclusive + as this package made a real difference to us - allowing us to start the day with a good selection of fruits and eating fresh fish and sea food every day. The a la carte restaurants offer a great culinary experience, while the one over the water spoiled us with great ocean views and so calm every day - exceptional place!!! High praise to the chefs at Reethi Grill as well, where we often had our dinner! Our villas were located just next to Thari bar and due to the strong winds on this side of the island, we went to the beach in front of Nala bar where the beach is wide and the lagoon is fantastic! The house reef offers good snorkeling and coral starts recovering slowly with some healthy patches here and there. I will never forget my first snorkeling on the house reef and this is the first time i see a giant manta on a house reef which allowed me to stay near for almost half an hour! What a gentle giant! We also saw big stingrays, some eagle rays, turtles, mooray eel and other highligh was some big black tip sharks hunting in a group and a big starry pufferfish and two resident Napoleons. There are certainly things that can be improved but overall we had a great stay and can't complain. With a little bit of adjustments i think the island can easily offer 5 star resort experience, the potential is certainly there. I just want to say big thank you to Sibin, Hassan, Naeem, Mani, Goutham, Janish, Riaz, chef Sumesh and chef Abishek who went the extra mile to ensure our stay will be special and our expectations will be met with extra care. Their service was exceptional and these employees are a credit to the resort!
