Our stay at the Standard Resort in the Maldives was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The staff were truly outstanding – so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. They went out of their way to make sure every moment of our stay felt special. The facilities were fantastic and everything was so easy to access around the island. One of the highlights was the snorkeling – the house reef is simply out of this world. Being able to jump in and explore such vibrant marine life right from the resort was unforgettable. We were lucky enough to see a rare ornate eagle ray, along with turtles and an amazing variety of fish. A special mention has to go to Shamaau, our host, who was the loveliest guy ever. He made us feel so welcome and looked after us brilliantly throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a truly magical Maldives getaway. Thank you!

My wife and I went on our honeymoon here for 7 nights and it was the most incredible time and we couldn’t not recommend it more! Amazing staff to help you out from your room to your activities, there is always activities for everyone whether your want to do your own thing, be creative or adventurous. Food at Kula did not once let us pick our jaws off the floor, we were blown away by the variety and quality at every meal time. The water and beaches were even better than imagineable, we did not expect the high quality snorkeling and amazing reefs and marine life all over the island. Finally, Youssef was amazing from the moment we arrived we were so well accommodated and looked after for whatever we could want from ensuring we had access to everything the island has to offer, he was always a warm friendly face that made our trip so easy and delightful. Thank you to all the staff at the Standard who made our stay so memorable and special to us!

My husband and I just got back from a month at The Standard, and honestly, we’re still struggling to adjust to real life. The island has such a cool, playful energy—it’s chic and vibrant without being stuffy, and those turquoise water views are just ridiculous. Our host, Eva, was a total superstar and made everything feel seamless, while Anas, Noor, and Widya all went above and beyond with such genuine warmth. The concierge service really is top-tier; they handled every little request with a smile and made us feel so well looked after. The spa was easily a highlight of the trip and offered some of the best treatments we’ve ever had in a space designed for total relaxation. We also couldn't get enough of the food; every meal was a hit with so much variety and quality. Whether we were soaking up the social ambiance or finding a quiet corner to ourselves, the vibe was always spot on.
