The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives

S manželkou jsme se zamilovali do Malediv hned při naší první návštěvě v roce 2022 a začali objevovat kouzlo jednotlivých resortů, každý byl jiný, svým způsobem originální, prostředím, přístupem, jídlem i ubytováním. Vždy jsme zkoušeli jiný resort a hledali ten pro nás nejlepší… až jsme se rozhodli vrátit zpět na Standard Huruvalhi, místo, které nejvíce vyhovovalo našim potřebám… krásné ubytování ve vodní vilce, kde kolem plavou hejna ryb, manty i rejnoci, malí i velcí žraloci (jenom ty želvy se nám letos schovali), výborné jídlo v hlavní restauraci (i v těch “vedlejších”), zvlášť dezerty byly vynikající a zejména pak lidé, kteří se o vás starají, nemůžu jmenovat všechny, tak alespoň ti nejúžasnější… hned v úvodu se nás ujala Eva, energická, vždy usměvavá, se vším pomohla, vše zařídila a nikdy nezapomenu na její … “ja vás miluji”, to musí odzbrojit každého, my ji milovali také 😍… pak tu byla Ayu, z restaurace Kula, našla ten nejlepší stůl, vždy si pamatovala co pijeme a stačilo se zmínit že máme rádi hovězí maso a druhý den jsme dostali ten nejlepší t-bone steak co existuje 😁, no prostě úžasná manažerka směny … a nakonec Shakh, ten nejlepší číšník ze všech, na obědech v hlavní restauraci, na večeřích v restauraci Onda, ten se o nás vždy skvěle staral, rádi jsme si s nim povídali a vždy se rádi zase vraceli… a co závěrem… Standard je místo, kam se chcete a budete vracet, protože je tam vše, co od dovolené čekáte… brzy nashledanou . The most AMAZING place! A true paradise! The service is constant and impeccable. Everyone there is happy, treated well by management and it really shows! Book this place, you won’t regret it! Our host, Shamaau was absolutely outstanding! If you’re thinking about coming to the Maldives, and you should be… COME HERE!! Cool trendy vibe, lounge is always open, drinks flowing & music upbeat yet relaxing!

Our stay here was simply outstanding. The highlight was the service. Staff, like Hasan and Shuria (I think that was her name!) were courteous, helpful and always with a smile. Shamaau, our host, was amazing and made sure we had the lay of the land so that we would be able to take full advantage of everything the Standard has to offer. The food was delicious! Our chef at Guduguda came out and gave us his personal attention as he described the tasty Maldivian food we had that night. He even gave us his recipe for chia pudding the next day at breakfast. The app is helpful for communication and scheduling, having bikes to ride around is just perfect, and all the colorful fish we saw snorkeling will always be a pleasant memory for us. All in all, an ideal 3 days of luxury and relaxation in an almost unreal setting of crystal clear waters, impeccable beaches and gorgeous views. Thanks to all of you at The Standard!!

We choose the resort for our Honeymoon and had a wonderful time. The room, the activities, the water world: it was truly breathtaking! We were absolutely amazed by the food, every dish was prepared with passion and presented with love and professionality. The whole staff was welcoming and cooperative, the spirit of the team was dynamic and warmth. At this point we would like to mention the team from Onda: manager Shingi with Linarah and Ziyan, they are working on highest standards. Another waiter who kept in our minds is Hassan from Kula restaurant, he was extremely engaged and caring. Last but not least we will thank our host Poula Maher. From arriving to leaving he always checked for our wellbeing. Also the service at the airport guaranted from the standard convinced us deeply. Congratulations for such amazing employees!!

Me and Sobah had such an amazing holiday at The Standard, Maldives. Everything about our stay was special, and we created so many beautiful memories together. A big thank you to Chef Rajesh and the whole kitchen and service team for always taking care of us and making sure we had a great experience. Everyone was so warm, kind, and accommodating throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the food and dining experiences. Onda and BBQ Shack were both amazing, with delicious food and great service. One of the most unforgettable experiences for us was the destination dining by the beach. It was such a romantic setup, and we were so happy to celebrate a special moment together in such a beautiful place. Special thanks as well to Faisal Ali for taking such good care of us during our beachside dinner. His service made the experience even more memorable. And of course, a big thank you to our host Shamaau, who was always there to help and made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.
