Great Hotel, very good location. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Amazing room. The breakfast buffet was amazing!!! You couldn’t ask for more!!! The only “negative “ feedback: The sink in the bathroom was very small and although it was a really big bathroom there were only 2 very small shelves to put your stuff on. And the blowdryer was fix inside a closet by the coffeecorner. But overall a place to go back to!

This hotel is well located, and extremely clean. Standout staff were superb but overall the staff offering was mediocre. Facilities are very good ie indoor pool and gym but the sunbathing area is not reflective of the rest of the hotel and hotel residents are very obviously treated unfavourable by comparison to external bookings of the space

I have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday at the Barceló Fortina Malta Hotel. It was just wonderful. I have to say that I think it is the best hotel that I have ever stayed in. It is so modern and stylish, and my room was really nice. Every day it was made to look as good as the first time I went into it. The attention to detail was amazing. I chose to have bed and breakfast with an evening meal as I travelled on my own, and didn't want to go out looking for a restaurant each night. All of the staff were so friendly and efficient and I would like to mention in particular - Diego, Lucia, Clara and Gabriela. They were so attentive, as were the other staff in the restaurant but I did not get their names. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who made my stay such a wonderful experience.

Hotel was clean. Having water seemed like a real difficulty for some reason. The sun beds needed to be booked the day before and you can’t choose your own, sometimes left with ones with no option of shade. There was a DJ every day down by the pool from around 1/2pm which made it not a very relaxing atmosphere, with no option but to sit next to thumping speakers trying to ‘chill out’ was made very hard as the music is always too loud wherever you are sat. Breakfast was very very good with great service in the restaurant.

Despite being 5 star this hotel was really dissappointing. They just could not get anything right. There were three of us in the room not two but some reason supplying us with three cups/chairs/towels seemed to be a problem. I informed before that I was bringing a 86 year old lady, celebrating her birthday and it would be her last holiday and I wanted to make it special. I then realised we did not have a walk in shower there was no way she was manage climbing over a bath. After a lot of pressure we got the room changed. The walk in shower was great but kept flooding, I soak up the water with the towels and left them in the bath. They stayed there for 2 days. I obtained new towels only to find one with a big hole in it. Dont get me started on the swimming pool. The pool is a ten minute walk for 86 year old down long tunnel and stairs , you other option was to cross a busy main road in your swim wear. Then when we got to the pool we were shoved in the far corner away from bar, disabled toilet and the pool. All the bed s were crammed together. We asked to be move so they placed us under a large speaker where we had to little to rave music all day and I mean load rave music. Works out the pool is an Ocean club working in partnership with hotel. It was not relaxing at all. Everyday we went to the pool it was a battle. There was no atmosphere in the hotel bar what's so ever and the bar men could not count past one , had no clue about Happy Hour whats so ever.
