Mercure St. Julian´s Malta

A truly outstanding stay from beginning to end. Our suite was beautiful, with an amazing view, and the service was simply impeccable. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. As we were celebrating our anniversary, we were delighted with a complimentary room upgrade, along with a bottle of wine, biscuits, and nuts waiting for us. Such a thoughtful and generous surprise! Everything exceeded our expectations. We have no words to express how grateful we are for the wonderful hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

Staff were friendly and helpful from the start, allowing us to check in early at 1:30pm as opposed to 3pm. They were also flexible in my request of swapping a queen bed for two singles. Room was serviced comprehensively each day and the aircon was effective during extreme heat. The breakfast was above average, with the freshly squeezed orange juice machine the personal highlight. The bacon and sausages did not look nice, however I didn't try them and I'm sure they were more than adequate for many people, and there were plenty of other options. Personally wasn't a massive fan of the rooftop pool, with the lack of space and sun loungers, meaning you had to get there early or wait until later in the day to secure a lounger. The location of the hotel is great, a short walk from restaurants, shops, clubs, bars, bus stops, and beaches. There was a lot of construction going on in the vicinity but it did not affect my sleep or relaxation. In conclusion, I would rate my experience with Mercure St Julian's as 5-star, and will remember it fondly.

Do not come here if you want sleep or any sort of relaxation! None stop building work surrounded around the hotel starting 7am every morning. Ruined our stay.

Really nice hotel in the lovely location of St Julian’s. Friendly staff, small but adequate pool, rooftop bar and decent breakfast. However the hotel is literally next door to a construction site and work starts early in the morning and is very noisy, to illustrate the point guests are provided with ear plugs.
