Le Meridien Ile Maurice

We stayed 7 days at the Méridien in Mauritius, and it was a truly refreshing change of scenery. We loved the surroundings, the clean beaches, the peaceful atmosphere, and the beautiful vegetation throughout the hotel grounds. The rooms are clean. Lilah took great care of us during our stay, and our room was always kept spotless. The three restaurants offer refined and generous dishes — a real delight. The buffet is also very complete, and the breakfast was excellent as well. It’s just a shame there isn’t a fresh juice bar; that would have been the cherry on top. The hotel offers a wide range of water activities, and there weren’t too many guests during our stay, so we never had to wait to do anything. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, with or without children.

Amazing hospitality/service and great food. Took care of our specific food ask as we were travelling with a toddler. We felt like at home with staffs taking care of us all the time for anything we needed anytime. Thank you

I recently dined at Kumin restaurant in Le Méridien Mauritius, and it was a standout experience from start to finish. The ambience is simply magical—elegant lighting, cozy seating, and a warm, inviting vibe that perfectly complements the beachfront setting. The Indian food was outstanding, with flavorful dishes bursting with authentic spices and freshness. Highlights included perfectly cooked curries and tandoori specials that left us craving more. Service elevated everything to five stars. Loveraj, Pravesh, and Roshan managed our table with utmost hospitality, anticipating needs and ensuring a seamless evening. Special shoutouts to Pooja, Umesh, Chef Sachin, and Chef Negi for their exceptional attention to detail and personalized touches that made us feel truly special. If you’re in Mauritius craving top-notch Indian cuisine in a luxurious setting, Kumin is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

My son and I recently enjoyed a truly special holiday at Le Méridien Ile Maurice, a much-needed opportunity to unwind after a busy few months, while also celebrating my birthday and my son’s upcoming 13th. Mauritius has always been a favourite destination for our mum-and-son trips, and this stay was no exception. We chose Le Méridien based on glowing recommendations from both my parents and our travel agent, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. We especially love the North West coast for its consistently beautiful weather, and once again, it did not disappoint. The all-inclusive package added tremendous value and ease to our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. Aziza ensured a seamless check-in experience and took the time to guide us through the hotel’s amenities before introducing us to the team at Nomad. Head Chef Steven personally showed us around, explaining the various food stations, and the team went above and beyond in accommodating my food sensitivities, which I truly appreciated. Breakfasts at Nomad were a highlight each day—varied, delicious, and perfectly suited to both my son and me. Although our room wasn’t immediately ready upon arrival, we made the most of the facilities by heading straight to the pool after breakfast. The only small inconvenience was not yet having a room number for ordering, but this was short-lived and did little to dampen our experience. Our room, ready just before 2pm, was absolutely perfect—located on the top floor with breathtaking sea views, and peacefully tucked away (no noise at all) from the busier pool areas. It was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. Dining throughout our stay was exceptional. The variety offered across the all-inclusive package meant every meal felt like a treat. From relaxed lunches at Jade or by the pool, to memorable dinners at Kumin—the Indian cuisine there was simply outstanding, with the butter chicken, chicken biryani, and rasmalai standing out in particular. A truly unforgettable moment was when my son returned from a deep-sea fishing trip with a 15kg Mahi Mahi. The culinary team at Nomad, especially Chef Chatoo, went out of their way to prepare it for us that very evening—serving up the most delicious fish and chips and a flavourful fish curry. They even helped us safely prepare and pack some of the fish to take home. This thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and is something we will always remember fondly. I also had the pleasure of enjoying two treatments at the Explore Spa with Bhawna, whose skill and calming presence made for an incredibly relaxing experience—it truly felt like pure escape. The gym facilities were another standout—well-equipped, clean, and a great space to maintain a routine even while on holiday. Overall, our stay at Le Méridien Ile Maurice exceeded all expectations. It offered the perfect balance of relaxation, quality, and heartfelt hospitality, and truly felt like exceptional value for money. Without a doubt, this has been one of our most memorable holidays. We visited Mauritius after 17 yrs and were not disappointed as it’s such a beautiful island and people are so friendly and welcoming. Stayed at the le Meridian on our daughters recommendation as they raved about how amazing it was and they weren’t wrong!!! When we go to 5* properties we expect 5* service and this hotel didn’t disappoint Going over and above is an understatement The staff were just so hardworking and always happy to help The managers know their managerial responsibilities There really wasn’t anything to complain about and if there was some small issue it was dealt with immediately and promptly and happily! We travel all over the world and don’t repeat hotels but this hotel we will happily return to
