Riu Palace Mauritius

Hotel jsme navštívili v březnu po cyklónu, ale kdybychom to nevěděli, nic bychom nepoznali. Podle našeho názoru, byl hotel obsazen tak ze 60-70%. U bazénu i na pláži bylo poloprázdno a jen na večeři jste mohli vidět, kolik hostů v hotelu asi je. Hotel je zcela nově zrekonstruovaný, vše je nové. Personál je velmi milý a ochotný. PLÁŽ- hotel se nachází na větrnější straně, první 2 dny nám opravdu hodně foukalo, že jsem leželi raději u bazénu. Co mi velmi vadilo byli bezohlední hosté, kteří každou chvíli pouštěly drony. Šla jsem si o stěžovat Security hotelu, ale nic nevyřešili. Toto by si měl hotel pohlídat, hosté chtějí mít soukromí, a ne ,aby jim nad hlavou neustále létal dron. Stačilo by jen upozornění, že jsou drony v rezortu zakázané!!! JÍDLO- velmi dobré, jen menší výběr ovoce. Z ala carte restaurací jsme vyzkoušeli indickou- nedoporučuji, asijskou- velmi dobrá a fine restaurant- taktéž doporučuji. Rezervaci jsme dělali na recepci. POKOJ- nový, účelně zařízený. V našem pokoji však chyběly háčky na župany, na zdi byly jen tužkou označené místa, kam mají přijít. REZORT- na první pohled velmi pěkný rezort, při bližším zkoumání ale poznáte, že trošku to je odbyté. Také mi vadil špatný úklid společných prostor. Schody, po kterých jsme chodili za celý týden nikdo neuklidil. Také jídlo, které bylo přineseno hostům do pokoje, bylo uklizeno až další den. VEČERNÍ PROGRAM- velmi velmi slabý, na úrovni mateřské školky…. Hotel hodnotím celkově kladně vzhledem k milému a ochotnému personálu a celkovém vzhledu hotelu. Je však určitě potřeba na některých věcech zapracovat.

Před odletem jsme měli opravdu strach, jestli jsme vybrali správný hotel. Po recenzích, co jsme se tu dočetli, jsme byli velmi rozpolceni. Ale! Byli jsme velmi příjemně překvapeni. Pokoje pěkné, čisté. Buffet velmi rozmanitý - asijská kuchyně, Španělská, pizza, ramen každý den výběr z několika druhů ryb. Naše mlsné jazýčky byly uspokojeny. Bazén, pláž bezkonkurenční ! Personální - vždy velmi milý ochotný, i když v některých případech by potřeboval více zaškolit. Ale jak říkám v každé situaci byl velmi příjemný a nápomocný. Nebyla to naše první návštěva sítě Riu Hotel , máme s tohle síti velmi dobré zkušenosti. Napodruhé nás nezklamali. Děkuji 🩷

We came from Spain to Mauritius for our 12-day honeymoon, and the trip was absolutely wonderful. We would happily do it all over again a thousand times. Riu Palace Mauritius is a huge resort with a great variety of activities and excellent dining options. We found it to be the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday, although there are also plenty of activities for those looking for more adventure. The island itself is amazing to explore, with many excursions available. We recommend booking tours through apps like GetYourGuide or directly with local taxi drivers if you get to know one during your stay. Without a doubt, the hotel's greatest asset is its staff. We truly believe this is what sets it apart from many other hotels and destinations. Every single employee treated us with exceptional kindness and professionalism, making our experience even more special. We would especially like to mention (although everyone was fantastic): Nilesh, who works at the Elite Club bar. He was incredibly attentive, always available, and consistently friendly throughout our stay. Joshil, who is always cheerful, funny, and full of positive energy. He made us smile every day. Everyone at the hotel clearly thinks very highly of him—he has a wonderful personality and great charisma. Natacha, who works at the Cappuccino bar, welcomed us every morning with a warm smile and genuine happiness. Roshan, the chef who is usually at the Elite Club restaurant, for his delicious freshly prepared food and his constant friendliness. The hotel is very modern, and the facilities are comfortable, beautiful, and extremely well maintained. It truly offers a unique experience. We stayed in a Swim-Up Suite with a private pool, and it was absolutely amazing. The room is stunning and comes with many excellent additional services. The restaurants offer a wide variety of high-quality food, each beautifully decorated with exceptional service. Every dinner feels like a special anniversary celebration. We recommend booking restaurant reservations as early as possible, as they can fill up quickly, especially at Krystal. We were very happy that we chose the Elite Club option. It provides access to several exclusive services that were definitely worth it, especially the Elite Club restaurant, where the food is outstanding. The Vichyssoise soup was, without question, the most delicious dish we had during our stay. The Elite Club pool and bar were also fantastic, allowing us to enjoy food and drinks at any time without depending on restaurant opening hours. The pool itself is peaceful, intimate, and perfect for relaxing. The only minor drawbacks for us were the wind on Le Morne Peninsula, which can sometimes make swimming at the beach less comfortable. However, if you walk just five minutes along the beach to the right, the coastline curves and the wind almost disappears, making it perfect for swimming. On the other hand, the wind is ideal for activities such as kitesurfing. The other small downside is that we visited during the Mauritian winter, when the sun is lower in the sky. Because of this, our private swim-up pool didn't receive much direct sunlight, so we didn't use it as much as we expected. Fortunately, the hotel's main pools are very sunny, and the water temperature was absolutely perfect. We would definitely come back. Mauritius is an incredible country for this type of holiday, and in just one week you can enjoy both the hotel and discover the island's main attractions. It has been an unforgettable experience

Had a wonderful time on my solo trip. The hotel is beautiful and i love that it accommodated people on wheelchairs. The food is amazing and the staff is reall amazing, would like to especially mention the following staff who made my stay so beautiful Lachmi (reception) Solomon Bisi Faidat Joy Anooop Alexis PIERRE Oceane Please do bring water shoes, thr peace is quite rocky. And make sure you enjoy the entertainment offered daily.
