I will never ever ever go here again. It was a horrible experience my friends and I had to make the best of it. The drinks were horrible. There are no frozen drinks anywhere at the resort they don’t offer it any type of good customer service. Everyone seemed annoyed with all the questions we asked

This was our fourth time visiting the resort. Our experience was wonderful as always. Everyone working at the resort was very friendly and helpful. Room: We stayed in an ocean view room for the first time and I don't for a second, regret booking it. The room was very clean, the towels were replenished daily, and the minibar was well stocked with plenty of water, soda, and beer. The balcony had two chairs and a small table where I enjoyed a morning cup if tea or a late afternoon drink while I watched and listened to the waves. There was also a drying rack for towels and swimsuits. Food: We used two of the three a la carte dinners that we were allotted during our 7 night stay. Definitely book the a la carte restaurants on the app ahead of your visit or you might end up disappointed not to get the reservations that you are hoping for. We ate at Gran Tortuga Restaurant which was a fun and delicious experience. I would 100% recommend. We also at the Tequila Restaurant which is authentic Mexican cuisine. This meal began with a starter and an appetizer brought to the table, followed by a buffet with a large variety of options. The Yucatan restaurant which is an international cuisine buffet, offered a variety of options for everyone. Although there were some choices that remained constant, other items were switched each day to provide variety. The Food Truck was a great late night option for snacks. Pool: We spent most of our time at the main pool. Since it was so late in the season, it was definitely easier to find beach chairs this trip than on previous trips when we were visiting earlier in the season. The pool was exceptionally clean and staff were regularly picking up empty dishes from the pool deck. Beach: It was quite windy while we were at the resort; however, we did spend one full day and a few afternoons at the beach. A windy day at the beach is still much better than a day at work! Each morning crews would rake and remove the seaweed that had washed up overnight keeping that beach as clean as possible. Entertainment: There were shows in the theater most nights. We did not take them in this year because we were on our third visit in three years and had seen all of the shows. We hope that there will be some new productions the next time we visit. There was late night entertainment on the pool deck each night. The silent disco was fun as always and the trivia was great for a laugh. There were a couple of musical groups that performed. Unfortunately the Mexican Fiesta in the Hacienda was canceled due to some issues, but we were fortunate to attend this event during a previous visit. The staff accommodated guests by putting hockey playoffs on the tv's in the evenings. It seemed to a be a place for Canadians to congregate each night and it was appreciated! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the resort as we always do, and I am sure that we will return in the future.

This review centers only on one thing - the indian restaurant Thali - which requires a reservation to get a seat - but here goes 1. Menu - the items in the menu were either not represented well. Or the day we went there was something seriously missing from the food. None of the dishes actually represented what they should be. 2. Food - almost everything we ate didnt taste indian. Coming from india this is not even representative of what we would call Indian food. Not even for an American audience. There is a take away joint in Tulum called Indian Express. They make better Indian food than Thali. Presentation was good but if the food doesnt taste well then it doesnt matter. 3. Service - It was a sit down dinner and since we sat down the waiters and servers were unable to answer questions and seemed visibly upset at the questions we were asking. We had a diverse group of people who had different restrictions. Plus they were unable to clearly explain what kind of food was being served. Not only that they didnt know what the dish consisted of. Then they got upset that we were upset and wanted something else. Nothing came extra or compliments of the chef to make our dinner better. Plus the food that came to the table came so so late - with nothing in between to keep the guests going. Had quite a few bad service dinners but this one took it to another level. 4. Isnt Bahia an all inclusive resort? Because we were clearly told that we wouldn't receive more food. Plus we were asked to order in part or get the thali. We understand what a prix fix is but not sure if we were paying for that in an all you can eat place. Plus some of the item s mentioned in the meals weren't put out. The chef wouldn't allow us to have extra sides. 5. We had a large group and reserved our dinner via email. They knew that the group had more people coming but they didnt try to provide enough chairs. When asked for they mentioned that the reservation for so many so we can't accomodate others (these others were infants whom we dont need to mention in most reservations) and refused to move tables/chairs - when the restaurant wasnt even completely full.
