Riu Latino

So we are hear right now since last Wednesday. The hotel is remarkably clean, best food ever, amazing and kind staff and excellent service. The only reason I’m giving this 3 stars is by no means the hotels fault but I read many reviews before booking this hotel and most everyone stated ages mostly between 30 and 60 mostly between 40 and 70 … so here we are 61 and 75 and the minute the shows start from beginning to end at around 9 pm till 11:00 the loud music is one thing but the screaming during the shows and loud people coming back to their rooms at 2-3 am screaming talking loud and slamming doors… no respect… even at 5-6 am slamming doors… ok we are early risers so nope haven’t had a decent nights sleep since we arrived. Anyway just to say we would not return to this resort. Anyone looking for a laid back vibe yes music and ambiance this is not the place for you. I wish someone would have warned me. But again not the hotels fault. This is a party hotel.

We stayed at the Riu Latino Mar 26 - Apr 2, 2026. To put it shortly, our stay was wonderful. The food - it's great! We enjoyed everything we had & lots of options. The pools - great. We went into them all at some point but spent most of our time in or near the main pool because of all the acitivies and entertainment throughout the days. The entertainment team here truly is remarkable, they do a great job and keep everyone engaged. The evening entertainment was great as well. We didnt catch it all each night but the ones we did we really enjoyed. The resort really is as spotless as everyone says & the care staff never stop working!! Special shout out to Mike, the main pool cart bartender - always smiling, always mixed the best drinks and so very friendly. Our room was clean, and the towel art was phenomenal, best I had ever seen. Beach is massive, soft white sand. Quite a bit of seed weed while we were there but they did their best to keep it cleaned up. Can't discount them for nature. We really enjoyed Riu Latio for our entire stay.

What I appreciate about Riu Latino is Marco, who provides me with the opportunity to learn Latin dance and exceptional yoga and fitness classes. He is a diligent individual among all the staff members. Riu Latino is fortunate to have him, demonstrating great precision and consistency in his work, which makes me and my partner extremely satisfied with his instruction every day. Will come back again to see Marco and amazing staff. Thank you

I'd like to thank Marco from the Entertainment Team. He is very knowledgeable and organized with the activities during our stay. We always enjoy his classes every morning and sometime we also join his afternoon classes, if we are not exhausted already. He is very hard working,l and dedicated to his job. He has a pleasing personality and his class is always enjoyed by everyone who joins him.

Wife and I have stayed at Riu Palace properties for past 8 years but wife wanted a different resort this year so I picked Latino. Nice property, typical Riu resort, clean as can be, happy employees, great service, only complaint is they need to change things up a bit in buffet as it's always the same food. you will not go hungry here but seems like "international night" most of time at buffet . Steak house was terrible, but best was the Italian. Having stayed only at Riu Palace properties we might of had high expectations so I'm giving that. We did meet some nice people at resort as well.
