Riu Ventura

Just returned from family vacation at Riu Ventura in Cancun. The recently opened hotel was beautiful & spacious. From the lobby to the rooms to the restaurants everything was clean, food was fresh and delicious. Every area inviting and the staff was nice & friendly, they made sure each guest in our group was good and taken care of. Multiple pools with great views of ocean with food nearby. Great location with quick ride to airport or nearby malls/stores. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean and it was a great location because it was close to the beach. They had a variety of food to choose from and restaurants. The food was a hit and miss, it depends on what your eating. I didn't really like most of the mocktail drinks, the virgin mojito was good and the buffet coffee. My family and I still enjoyed it. Our hotel room was cold and there was no blankets ,just sheets. We tried changing the thermostat but it was still cold so that's why we did not sleep well. Besides that, it was still a fun experience, they had great night entertainment, party, a beach, and kind workers.The hotel staff made my birthday celebration special and memorable. A great place to celebrate birthday.

We chose this hotel as our fourth state in Mexico our holiday to Kenya had been cancelled so as an alternative we decided to go back to Mexico. This hotel is relatively new. It was Clean staff were very friendly although there were a few exceptions to the rule the food was in adequate, mostly cold or lukewarm never hot. The drinks at the bar were served with pleasantries but international brands such as Bacardi and Smirnoff from my opinion are watered down Home brands were not but were not my option of choice therefore resorted to international brands and after drinking copious double Bacardi with Pepsi felt absolutely no effect whatsoever which is a shame the rooms were clean and spacious spark colours and doors Clean bathroom spacious well maintained fridge restocked daily as well as the optics which were not really used by myself overall hotel was very good value staff were excellent in the most parts food inadequate drink service excellence drink quality very poor.

The stay at this hotel and location was very nice. I had a great family vacation stay! Areas of improvement would be regarding the dayshift food waiters, to be more attentive to customer's needs, and more friendliness from this crew. Another area of improvement would be for the lunch and dinner meals to have more food choices and different cuisine options available.

All of the staff was very attentive and ready to help. We never had to wait to be seated and served at restaurants. I loved having the option to order from menu and use the buffet. The food is phenomenal.
