Riu Ventura

Brought my family including my 84 yr old grandparents from Bolivia and we all enjoyed it here. Pool and beach phenomenal. Staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. They turned our towels into animas everyday. We had two birthdays and def made it feel special. Drinks were great entertainment was fun!

The entertainment staff was absolutely amazing and there was always something to do! Shout out to Johnny for making the trip special for the kids!! The hotel was extremely clean, service was phenomenal, and there was plenty of food options. We will definitely be back!

First of all, ignore all the negative reviews as they completely ruined our first image of the brand new Riu Ventura. The RIU transfer was punctual and quick. Check in was then swift and we were straight to our room with all the info we needed. The hotel itself is amazing, with great bars, lovely restaurants and lots of pools. The public spaces are well decorated. I think the corridors to the rooms need some final touches but things like this should be expected for a brand new hotel. The pools are large enough and have a good spread of deck chairs, so we always managed to find a pair available. The restaurants are top tier with great food. Kulinarium was exceptional with great veggie choices. The buffet restaurant was great for brekkie with great choice of food. Dinner options seemed to repeat but as expected for a buffet restaurant. The taco stand for lunch was great and right next to the pools. A huge shoutout to the entertainment team. They were absolutely exceptional and definitely made our stay. Jonathon was great and always welcomed and remembered (as the London people). Jonathon and his team were great throughout the day, by the pool and in the evening. Great choice of entertainment if you are willing to take part! The cocktails were amazing, served to perfection. Especially at the margarita bar. Overall amazing!

The house keeper Brenda was great decorating our room everyday with very cute towel animals! Karmina from entertainment was awesome playing blackjack and assisting with our group going to parties and other events. She also is a tremendous dancer and entertainer herself. It seemed she was everywhere doing everything which was truly amazing!

If you enjoy the sweet sounds of constant construction(drills and hammers), then this is the place for you. Two straight days of construction on a hotel that was completed months ago. To trip it off, I messaged them about getting a swimup room upgrade—they agreed, gave me a price(which I accepted) and then reneged on their offer. I went to the front desk to pay for the upgrade they promised me only to have them tell me it wasn’t available and that whoever was messaging me in the app(their app) was incorrect. Management is non existent. I asked to move to a different hotel and have received no response. I always stay at Riu—this one is falling short on expectations and no one will own up to it. Pay a little more and go somewhere else.
