Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club

My husband and I renewed our vows here on our 20th anniversary, and had 2 other couples, our 2 daughters, one of the daughter's boyfriends, and our "bonus son" with us. Gabriela made my dreams come true after many disappointments from our travel agent. We felt like royalty! The food at Jasmine and Bluewater Grill were amazing. The pools were very hard on the feet, and the ants/mosquitoes were annoying, but did NOT ruin our vacation. We would absolutely visit again!

Outstanding service from our friend, Edgar! He went above and beyond. He was incredibly accommodating and kept us laughing the whole time during our tequila tasting. His excellent customer service and positive attitude made the experience unforgettable.

I had a fantastic stay at Secrets Tulum and would happily return if I was looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. This is the perfect resort if your idea of a holiday is switching off, lounging by the pool, enjoying good food and unwinding. The resort has several beautiful pools, so it’s always easy to find a quiet spot to relax, and the overall atmosphere is calm and tranquil rather than lively. The Beach Club was one of the highlights of our stay. It has a brilliant atmosphere with a great mix of shaded sunbeds and loungers directly on the beach. Yes, the seaweed is a natural issue along this coastline, but the staff work incredibly hard to manage it and it certainly didn’t stop us enjoying our time there. A special mention goes to Johnny from the entertainment team, who was fantastic. We really enjoyed making bracelets with him and his friendly personality added to the experience. The food throughout the resort was consistently good, with plenty of choice, and the service was excellent. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and eager to help, making us feel genuinely well looked after. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because there are a few areas where it doesn’t quite match some of the other Secrets resorts we’ve visited. There isn’t a central bar with a lively atmosphere where guests naturally gather in the evenings, and the entertainment is very low-key. Most of it starts while many guests are still having dinner and has usually finished by the time you’ve eaten, leaving little to do afterwards. It’s also worth noting that most bars and restaurants close by around 10:30pm, so this definitely isn’t a resort for late nights or anyone looking for a party atmosphere. Overall, if you’re looking for a luxurious, quiet escape where you can truly relax and recharge, Secrets Tulum is an excellent choice. If you’re after lively nightlife, evening entertainment and a buzzing social atmosphere, you may be better suited to another Secrets resort. For us, it delivered exactly the peaceful getaway we were hoping for.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and it was a wonderful experience. Food was good, the services were amazing and everyone was so helpful. The best part was our private Concierge, Nataly. She sent us information every morning about what is going on that day. She was very responsive whenever we needed anything. Even after we left, she helped me locate a lost item.
