Dobrá poloha hotelu pro naplánované výlety. Polopenze různorodá, každý si vybere, dostatek ovoce a zeleniny. Sauna, venkovní a vnitřní bazén k dispozici. Z naší strany celková spokojenost s personálem.

Ubytování velmi čisté, polopenze dostačující, personál velmi milý a ochotný. Z většiny pokojů je krásný výhled na oceán. Nicméně se nejedná o 4* hotel :-) (plíseň na dveřích v koupelně, nedovírající se dveře ve wellness, nefungující žárovka na chodbě, apod...) Hotel je v prudkém kopci a proto je lepší mít zajištěné auto/motorku a to doporučiji zajistit předem.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below what was advertised. The food was consistently poor — often cold, tasteless, and at times genuinely inedible. Dining felt more like an inconvenience than something to enjoy, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming a four-star standard. The hotel itself lacked any kind of welcoming or appealing atmosphere. It felt tired and neglected rather than relaxing or comfortable. One of the biggest misrepresentations is the claim that this is a “spa hotel.” In reality, there are no proper spa facilities included. Guests are required to pay £10 per hour, and even then, the sauna and Turkish steam room are so small they only fit two people. The indoor jacuzzi was completely unusable, containing no water and even dead cockroaches — which was frankly shocking. We also had an unpleasant experience in the restaurant where we were told we could not have our own unopened bottle of water at the table and were forced to purchase water from the hotel. This felt unnecessary and overly restrictive. The room itself was not much better. The bed had collapsed at the edge, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. When we raised the issue, we were given a mattress topper, which did nothing to resolve the problem. Overall, this hotel is being marketed as a four-star property, but in our experience, it does not even meet basic two-star standards. I would strongly advise others to be cautious. Looking at online reviews, there appears to be a pattern of very negative feedback followed by clusters of overly positive five-star reviews, which raises concerns about their authenticity. Unfortunately, this stay was a major letdown, and we would not return.

We stayed here 20-27 December. Our first time at Madeira and this hotel. Reading some of the reviews prior I was a little hesitant but this is what we thought. We a family of 3, age ranges 23 - 63. Location - beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, stunning views and a 15-20 min walk to Riberia Brava. Ideally need car to travel around although you can get a bus and if you do I recommend you get the rapidio one as it takes you the quickest route. Hotel- Bright, modern, rooms were very clean, comfy beds, lovely hot shower and both rooms had the wonderful views of the ocean. Air con worked well and slept like a log, didn’t hear any noises. Food- we were half board, breakfast great variety, cooked breakfast, cereals, yogurts, fruits, croissants, cheese, ham and so on. Evening meal again fantastic variety and hot dishes were hot, we couldn’t fault it. Staff - ALL staff were welcoming and friendly especially Vera and her brother and parents on reception and Fatima in the restaurant along with their colleagues. The cleaning maids were also pleasant and always seemed to be cleaning. I think reading some previous reviews it may have been the difference in different languages that may have caused misunderstandings but for us again couldn’t fault anyone! Facilities- indoor pool was lovely, we did use the gym, outdoor pool looked lovely but we didn’t use it during our stay. There is a games room with pool table, table tennis and board games. If I had to make any criticism or recommendations it would be to update the tennis bats and the tips on the snooker Q’s. This is a family run hotel and credit to them. Very nice hotel with clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. Sometimes the warm dishes of the breakfast could be hotter. Good on-site parking and a nice view to the ocean.
