Chef’s kiss! This hotel is located in the perfect place. The room was STUNNING, the scenery was gorgeous, the surrounding restaurants were excellent. Whether you are planning to walk or take a ride share, this is the perfect place to stay.

One of the smaller Pestana hotels in Madeira with a warm, friendly welcome and a high standard of rooms, facilities and delicious food, situated in attractive grounds on the edge of the sea. We return every year, welcomed by many of the same staff who work to a very high standard and genuinely care that we have an excellent stay.

The Vila Lido is a beautiful boutique hotel in a fabulous location. The rooms are lovely and very well equipped with a wonderful sea view. The old Quinta is gorgeous with an amazing bar and restaurant. The outdoor pool area is literally next to the sea. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Cannot fault this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and our holiday in Funchal. We had beautiful ocean facing rooms and the staff were wonderful. The pool staff were super helpful!

We booked two rooms for one week for my son’s birthday. Christian De Abreu at reception is great! He is very efficient and helpful with our room, tour and dinner with cake arrangements. We had a relaxed and happy time because of Christian. Also thank Ismael Talukdar help with changing room. Thank you.
