Kosta Palace

Amazing position on Kos' circular harbour (lots of boat trips to choose from) + walking distance to Kos town with a small supermarket minutes away for bottled water, etc. Nearby Lambi beach is awful...too many sun beds in close proximity. Hotel rooftop swimming pool has a nice snack bar and stunning views of the harbour and views across to Turkey. Hotel staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Had wonderful breakfasts outside on the terrace overlooking the harbour watching the fisherman land his morning catch and feed the waiting cats, which are everywhere and well looked after! There are views of the castle (€5 entry) and Roman amphitheatre (free) is also close by behind the town. Car/bike hire is close to the hotel. Tigaki beach (on N coast) is a beautiful quiet sandy beach with nice restaurants, handy as there are no public toilets. Kardemena (S coast) has a lane full of tourist shops, a nice sandy beach and nice cafés. Zia has amazing views and sunsets.

I visited Costa Palace for a few hours for an online work and I would like to express my congratulations and appreciation to the reception team. Especially Kostas, who helped me a lot, had arranged the room from the very first day, and was extremely kind, helpful, and highly professional throughout my stay. Also, Thodoris, who assisted me during the check-in process and was very welcoming, efficient, and professional. Overall, the service was excellent, and the entire reception team was extremely professional and outstanding in customer service. They truly made my experience very pleasant. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! Big thanks to both of them!

Well situated for the town on the harbour hotel staff were excellent

Kosta Palace is in a fantastic location right in the harbour, with some of the best views in town. This was our third or fourth visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed it once again. The hotel is large and spacious, with well-appointed rooms that include everything you need—kettle, fridge, safe, and a vanity table with mirror. The rooms are comfortable and practical, making it easy to settle in for a longer stay. Breakfast here is genuinely excellent—one of the best we’ve ever had—with a great variety and fresh options to start the day. The coffee is also a highlight, especially the traditional Greek style. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. A reliable, comfortable base in a brilliant location—we’d happily return again.
