GRECOTEL LUX.ME White

Pobyt předčil naše očekávání, včetně reality komplexu. Personál byl velmi vstřícný, ochotný a proaktivní. Velmi jsme si vážili trpělivosti při komunikaci a nadstatndartních služeb včetně all inclusive. Máme v plánu se někdy vrátit, nebo minimálně navštívit další z komplexu hotelů Grecotel, vždy skvělá zkušenost. Byli jsme překvapeni milou pozorností, ve formě dortu, k našemu výročí svatby. Hotel můžeme jen doporučit!

Absolutně skvělý resort s výbornými službami, skvělým umístěním a senzačním personálem, který je velmi kamarádský, vím, že je to v recenzích již určité klišé, ale zde je to FAKT, který se nesmí opomenout! Jezdíme zpravidla ve větším počtu osob, ale uvědomila jsem si, že kdybych z jakýchkoliv důvodů jela jednou úplně sama, cítila bych se zde jako mezi přáteli !!!! Velmi ráda bych zmínila zejména neustále usměvavého Nikolaje s jeho humorem a perfektním servisem na pláži, Manuela v Long Beach bar a celý tým v Sunset Lounge Bar. Děkujeme za skvělý přístup a služby a rozhodně DOPORUČUJI a těším se na příští rok!!!!

The friendliest staff throughout the whole hotel, smiles always & attentive. Never had to wait for a drink, even down the front away from the pool. The poor girl who had to trudge across the sand was the smiliest of them all. Drinks & proper cocktails were all really nice, I really like the white wine 95% of the time, a few times at the sunset bar was not as pleasant. Wife like the rose & she is fussy but they had the wine room that seemed to be popular if you were not so keen. Had a swim up room & loved it but liked to be right at the sea front so last 3 days did not really use, especially when the wind dropped & wanted any breeze we could get. No biggie but having to get drinks at the swim up a tiny issue but fully appreciate staff cannot be everywhere. loved it for a last dip before the evening. bit of a lottery, end rooms would not technically have swim up but easy access, we were in the middle. people do walk past to get to their rooms on that side but did not bother me at all but I felt conscious doing it to other people. Restaurants: Did not do the White as bit too fishy for us, I know, plebs! meat choice not quite for us either but people raved about it. Asia White really nice, little fast service but we could have slowed it down if we asked. Tavernika, again good, perhaps not fantastic. The "India" Italian was actually our favourite, not full sea view but still very nice. Lunch was nice there once, simple but good. generally we went the the main buffet. Shame as Tavernika does lunch but only peak season, I think started the day the left the 26th June but by the sea would have been lovely & varied. Overall food was tasty & varied (not exceptionally so), got better the last few days we were there, 4th day before I saw any Giros. Would not quite grade it as fantastic but cannot imagine any one be disappointed especially as so many restaurant choices. I understand the farm is excellent. for ref. booking, I stressed as 7 days before I checked the App, only a few left available & bad times. I emailed & I got everything I wanted no problem so perhaps! ignore the App availability. Overall I just loved the whole experience. end of June so must be busy but never felt had to rush for a good dinner table, inside or out, anytime, breakfast, the usual fare but lovely, omelete making etc. eggs great, bacon, chicken sausages? fruit etc etc. I did not use but could see lots of good sun beds 9am or later. there is another pool the same size with kids just further up so cannot image a big rush but perhaps School Holidays is does change. Entertainment. little limited but actually some nice music, DJ is OK, the singer was good, 3 piece band pretty good, saxaphone guy really good. Sunset bar is gorgeous & usually enough seats & spacing is great (meant to mention main buffet area, love the way its spaced out, lots of room between tables.) Drink service fast & friendly again. Been to some nice hotels over the years & is my favourite by some distance despite a few of my non-5 star comments above.

I took my daughter to celebrate her 18th birthday and we had the most amazing time! Starting with the reception team who upgraded us on arrival, through to Nineta in the guest relations team who helped to arrange a surprise in the room - balloons, flowers, cake and a surprise present, to Dimitrios who was also fantastic and super helpful with sorting out restaurant reservations, to Eleni on the reception team who helped with my daughter when she had a bit too much sun, and also our checkout by ensuring we had somewhere to get ready for our late return flight. The hotel itself is in a stunning location and is clean and well maintained - our room was gorgeous! It was a fairly easy 1 hour transfer from Heraklion airport and also a 20min or so bus ride to Rethymon - which I would recommend doing if you have time, the Old Town is lovely and the fortress and harbour are lovely to walk around with lots of shops and places to eat/drink. The facilities overall were fantastic - we used the gym a couple of times and had to wait a little to use specific equipment, but it was clean and cool with water and towels provided. The food was lovely in all the restaurants that we ate in and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beach was lovely - lots of sunloungers and the sea was very warm and easy to swim in (even though they closed it due to waves/wind on a couple of the days for safety). Overall we had a brilliant time, the all inclusive option was great value for money, and we would highly recommend it.

Exceptional hotel. Best I have stayed in in a long time. Staff, food, accommodation are fabulous. Do not hesitate to stay here.
