Hersonissos Palace

Vše bylo dobré, strava výborná a pestrá- neustále k dispozici ryby a mořské plody, spousta oliv a olivové oleje:) obsluha u stolů i na barevh rychlá a důsledná, místní alko nápoje vcelku chutné bez bolehlavů:) na pláž nutná obuv. Pokoje čisté.

I don’t ever leave reviews as I find it unfair to risk people’s jobs, livelihoods etc. I feel it compulsory to make people aware of this hotel! And not for good reasons! Firstly I will start with star rating; you could walk to the end of the earth and not find another hotel like this that is rated 5 and yet is hardly even a 3! We arrived quite late at night to be met by a gentleman who didn’t have a clue of what he was doing other than to collect tourist tax and a security guard with such a miserable face it was enough to put you off straight away. On the way to the rooms, the lifts were dirty, carpets on landings even more so and general cleanliness didn’t look the best. Will say on entering the room everything seemed very clean and tidy although it smelt like someone had been chain smoking in it. We couldn’t have a safe until next morning, no idea why but when we paid our 28 euros it didn’t work. Had to report to reception. Food was very very poor on first day with raw looking sloppy head for breakfast and dried up cheese slices. Our room was not serviced the first day even though friends we travelled with got theirs done. Second full day the bed was made but shows and toilet both left dirty and our clothes thrown off bed onto side. Every hotel I have stayed in before have always placed nightwear neatly on pillow. The shower floods every time it’s used all over the bathroom floor. There are no snack bars so if you miss a meal you have to wait until next meal time to eat. 2pm until 7pm is a long wait without any option at all. We paid 2k for the his holiday expecting a decent time. We have made our own fun but no way should they be allowed to sell this hotel as a 5 star. Surroundings are also awful, can only imagine it’s what Beirut is like. Please people think carefully before spendingyour money. I could go on and on with negatives

Disregard the negative reviews. We are currently here and are having a fantastic experience from check in to the everyday joys of the staff. So I'll start with the staff...they are absolutely amazing from the minute we arrived, from morning til night the staff have been been nothing but exceptional. Rooms are extremely comfortable with a mattress I would gladly take home. Pillows are plump with a little touch of heaven. Linen from sheets to bathtowels are soft and plush. The Beach front "Know Bar" is a welcome sight after taking a trip along the coast and a short 30 sec walk from the hotel. Bars are ran and kept immaculately clean. Rooms with 42 inch TV has exceptional features with WiFi router at the back so WiFi streams seamlessly for those who have the need for media devices such as Firesticks or Android devices...over all the WiFi is flawless. Now to the food...... People who possibly want a personal chef may disagree but I've just had a fabulous Rib Eye steak....yes a Rib Eye steak cooked to order. Sushi the night before and a curried dish that was amazing...of course fresh sea food and a lil touch of nostalgia with Beef liver in a redwine reduced jus...trust me you'll have seconds. Then hand made Gyros cooked to order like any other you'll pay for on the strip...I may have missed things but last but not least the Pizza is superb like unreal tbh...so if you have picky eaters or young children this is a winner!!!!!! Now back to the Staff from Manager to the ladies and gentlemen who work the grounds they are without doubt amazing and deserve nothing but the upmost respect with Dimitri the Manager being so attentive he would have you blush. Do yourself and your loved ones a courtesy and book a relaxing flawless stay.

Nice Atmosphäre roomms really top

The location of the hotel is perfectly situated, a minute or 2 walk down to the beach with afew shops to browse on your way down. I’ve stayed here all inclusive and the breakfast, lunch and dinner options are just amazing! Such a variety that everyone could happily eat here and I’ve tried many new foods at the hotel and enjoyed nearly all. The waiting staff are fantastic and very attentive and they ensure the restaurant is clean and your tables are clean of dirty plates as it’s a buffet style restaurant. I could not recommend the Hersonissos Palace Hotel enough and plan on staying at this hotel again should we come back to Crete. A personal thank you to the Manager Dimitris who look after myself and my mum and greeted us every meal and made us feel incredibly welcomed to the hotel and couldn’t have done any more to ensure we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. There’s nothing bad I could say about the staff, food or amenities at the hotel.
