Dora & Vasillius …what a dream team, slick operation in the restaurant & Pool bar after 5pm! They are great company too, double comedy act added into the mix - Love them! But the entire staffing crew cannot do enough for you! Ionna is Guest Services Manager and has completely looked after us! We are a party of 4 ladies on our annual 3 night girls trip and enjoyed our large terrace swim ups so much but early season meant the pool was still quite cold. The hotel is quiet and serene ideal for couples and honeymooners and just a taxi ride away is busy Platanias full of shops, bars and restaurants and Chania old town is fabulous too. 5/5 for cleanliness too - the staff are constantly painting, cleaning or gardening. Proper Sunbed’s with thick mattresses and more than plenty to go round by the main pool or beach. The beach is sandy but with lots of pebbles and stones but still a beach nevertheless. A 10 min walk left down the beach brings you to a small selection of great beach bars for lunch. Well done Myrion, you have pretty much nailed it for a great relaxing hotel stay!

Just returned from a week here. The hotel is situated in Gerani. Yes the area is a bit rundown but there are a couple of small supermarkets to walk to and the restaurant Bossa Nova was amazing (again a 5 min walk). This part of Crete is amazing, the drive into the mountains is spectacular. Every village you pass has something special to discover. We drove the gorge to Therisso, drove to Elafonisi beach, explored the monastery at Kolymvari. Obviously Chania itself is great to explore. The area is so rustic and traditional, just beautiful if you like that vibe (real Crete). We really enjoyed the hotel, the room was nice (a little smaller than expected) but everything is clean and all the staff are lovely. We stayed in a swim up room, yes the pools are cold but the loungers outside your room is a real bonus. Though there is no issue getting loungers by the pool and no one reserving them, which really irritates me. We enjoyed the small indoor pool, which was very warm, and the loungers there were great when the weather cooled. Its a shame the steam rooms are extra charge, i would def change that as they just weren't used. The outdoor pools aren't heated but i did swim most days. It was ok once you got going. Breakfast was very nice (nothing special but perfectly good). It was great to be right by the beach. Its not golden sands but you need to go to the west coast for that. Overall really enjoyed Crete and the hotel, really good price for what you get!!

Lovely stay. Most things perfect, the atmosphere, service, breakfast, pool and beach areas. Only minus was the hotel area - there is nothing to do outside the hotel, and also the lunch restaurant had too few options. We ate lunch there every day for a week and had already tried the entire menu after three days.

We went to Myrion with my spouse and my 70-year-old parents for a week vacation. Hotel is very modern, clean and has a beatiful pool area. Hotel also has some very pleasant scent we couldn't figure out where it came from. It was the first thing we noticed when we arrived at the lobby, and the same smell is all over the hotel's inside areas. I don't know how other guests feel about it, but we absolutely loved it! Breakfast and dinner were good and had a lot variety. I specially loved that there was a lot of healthy choices; different kind of salads, vegetables and fruits available. The only downside at breakfast was tea selection: there was none. I myself don't drink bagged tea, I only drink quality loose leaf tea, which was not in this hotel's selection. However, I was not surprised by this, since I am aware Greece is not a "tea drinking country". But it would have been nice to get quality tea in a quality establishment. Hotel's beach was small rock beach mixed with sand. Seawater looked clean, but unfortunately there was strong waves few days when we would have time to go swimming, so we couldn't really test this. Service in this hotel is excellent and the staff is very helpful. For example, we asked for car rental option from the reception and they gave us the choices of car selection, then made the the call to the rental company they are in cooperation with. The car was brought to the hotel the next day and returned the same way. This was very convenient, thank you for that! The gym at the hotel is very small, I would not go exercise with more than two or max three people at the same time. There were two treadmills, but neither of them worked properly two times i went to the gym. I couldn't figure out where the problem was and there was no staff at the spa reception at that time. Overall we were very pleased of our stay in Myrion. This was no doubt one of the best hotel's I have ever stayed. Thank you! And please, don't ever give up on the scent you have in your hotel :) I miss it already.

Excellent room and service . Expensive drinks . Sunday DJ on a bit of an ego trip and excessively loud , noise cancelling headphones probably wouldn’t solve the problem . If I’d booked a room around the pool I’d have been complaining rather more - he needs to be brought into line
