Rhodos Horizon Marina

Fabulous hotel! Very friendly staff, knowledgeable receptionists, fabulous & varied food, spotlessly clean hotel/pool, free pool towels, easy walk to the beach. Only slight grumble, through no fault of the hotel, is there are very few bars nearby (but why would you go when the hotel is so lovely?) and it's a good 20 min walk to Rhodes Old Town, but there is a bus stop outside and plenty of taxis. I'd 100% recommend the hotel and stay again.

As you reach your destination it looks as if it's in a derelict place but when you arrive you are met by an excellent reception team. Our room was lovely and yes the bathroom is small with the taps located in a strange place but with a very powerful shower. We had a sea view room which also overlooked the pool which was lovely. Rooms and surrounding areas were absolutely spotless so well done to the cleaners. Also it was mine and my husband's birthdays whilst we we there and our room was decorated and a bottle of fizz was left. Our two birthdays were celebrated in the restaurant with the waiters singing with a cake, candles and another bottle of fizz. The staff are exceptional 👌 they make this hotel ... Manolis Sonia Fani Tsambika Vasilis Ervina Ioanna, really stood out and made us feel more than welcome. The bar staff were amazing and loads of fun. Food was plentiful and there was something for everyone 😋. Greece old town was about 25 minutes away and was absolutely beautiful 😍 The beach is a 2 minute walk away. The pool was lovely and the all inclusive drinks were lovely. The only negative about this hotel is the entertainment, nothing in the day and only 3 days out of the 7 we had entertainment which was just ok. My opinion would be charging a bit more for the holiday so better entertainment could be provided. Overall this hotel is exceptionally good but the staff deserve all the credit. Just arrived from a wonderful stay at the hotel, it's a little out of town in a quiet area but only 25 mins easy walk into old town there is a few restaurants close by and few shops and beach across the road with a sand beach but no sun loungers or shade. The rooms are very nice with a mini bar stocked daily free of charge, beds very comfortable the only downside is small bathrooms and power outlets only 2 in the room located next to light switches so it's hard to plug in adaptors for UK plugs as there too bulky so nipped next door to the Chinese shop which sell everything and purchased 2 phone wires €4 each worth every penny. The pool area is very nice but a little enclosed so the sun shines on various areas throughout the day and if the hotel is full it can be hard to get a sunbed a couple of days we couldn't get one so went over to the beach for the day. The food is lovely and replenished regularly no complaints about the food always something nice to eat. The staff this is the biggest plus the cleaners do fantastic job everyday we came back to our room everyday and it was spotless, the bar and restaurant staff always had a smile for you and seemed pleased to see you everytime, the reception staff were fabulous nothing too much trouble for them even when I lost my key on the first day making a joke of it rather making a drame thank you Sofia and yana and special praise to my mate Kevin always there with a fist pump and a big smile and really enjoyed being PSG fans for one night. Highly recommend rhodos horizon marina can't wait to return

Wow! What a fantastic hotel. Really clean and comfortable room, brilliant staff (we found fizz, balloons and a towel creation on the bed after a trip out on my husband's birthday!). If we had one criticism it would be that the bathroom was very small, but having said that it was kept beautifully clean and we did have all we needed. The food was plentiful, with lots of choice and we never felt rushed in the restaurant at all. The dining room staff worked very hard at keeping tables cleaned and making sure you had enough drinks etc. We aren't pool people ourselves, but clearly a lot of other people were, but we didn't see towels hogging the sun loungers round the pool - very civilised. It's about a 5 minute walk to the marina, where there are several bars which we would go to after dinner. It took us about 30 minutes to walk into the town, but we aren't the fastest of walkers. I would like to say that Sofia on reception was very helpful when I needed to book a restaurant and taxi and Manolis in the restaurant was an absolute star. Would we go back? Yes! Would we recommend others go? Absolutely!
