Iliada-Odysseas Resort

Rooms for two are completely sufficient, the resort has two pools and one has a bar. Breakfast is absolutely perfect! The sea, restaurants, shops nearby. We didn't miss anything. Everyone here is pleasant and kind. We were very satisfied. We recommend this resort to everyone.

This resort was lovely, the rooms were very spacious and clean, the beds were a little hard but I found that they were comfortable enough to sleep in. The bathroom was very clean. There were a few issues, one issue was that the room did begin to feel very muggy and damp (I’m not quite sure why) but it started to gain a bit of a damp smell - I also found that my clothes began to feel damp. Again not too sure why? It could have been the condensation from the shower - however I left the window open when I had a shower and made sure the bathroom door was shut while showering and for a bit after so the condensation didn’t go through to the room but the issue still occurred. The WiFi, it never seemed to work in the room, but worked around curtain parts of the resort, which was a problem especially because I was working while on this trip and needed internet. The locks on the doors to get in and out would constantly jam which made it difficult to get in and out of the room - think they could do with getting changed. However, other than these issues the room was perfect. The pool area, it was very clean - the pool was very refreshing and again very clean. The bar by the pool was reasonably priced - the staff were very helpful, I didn’t have a full conversation with any of them but from the quick conversation they seemed very friendly. I did have included breakfast and there wasn’t a huge range of choice but from what I had it was nice. The resort was located about a 5 minute walk away from a mini market and again a 5 minute walk away from the beach - it was about a 25 minute drive into the town. I would say the location was great! Overall this resort was lovely and I would most definitely stay again! I am quite interested to know what the damp situation was but it wasn’t really a huge problem for me. However I understand how it can be a problem for most people so I thought I should raise the issue. Other than that it was a great resort and I would highly recommend!

Just back from a week at this hotel and it was great. All staff are very friendly. Breakfast wasn’t to our taste but there was always cereals and eggs. The shower heads are rusted but this is because it is sea water that comes out, the same as the sink. It’s a great location right beside the sea, with shop at end of street. Also the bus stops at the shop. My only complaint was the bed was to hard.

Hotel is very tired and needs a lot of attention. Staff are friendly and helpful. We booked a superior room but honestly don’t waste your money. It’s just a bog standard room with very low standard furnishings. Everything is rusty, dodgy light fittings. Kettle doesn’t switch off and pours steam out handle so you can’t touch it. The breakfast is really very basic, we’ve given up eating here and go to sea front where there are some really lovely bars and restaurants.

Polite and friendly staff, as well as helpful if anything was ever needed. Breakfast is continental and served every morning until 10:30. Comfortable rooms and appropriate size for 4 guests. Room service was carried out daily and fresh towels were given each day. The hotel was also a couple minutes walk to restaurants, a bus stop, local shop and euro market. Our stay here was great; would recommend if staying on this side of Santorini!
